During a discussion I had with a Christian woman, she informed me that Jesus pbuh was God because of his numerous miracles ; such as, bringing back the dead. In light of this I have found:
Elisha and Elijah fed a hundred people with twenty barley loaves and a few ears of corn (2 Kings 4:44). Elisha told Naaman, who was a leper, to wash in the river Jordan (2 Kings 5:14) and he was healed. Elisha caused a blind man to see in (2 Kings 6:17,20). Elijah and Elisha raised the dead in (1 Kings 17:22, and 2 Kings 4:34). Even Elisha's dead bones restored a dead body in (2 Kings 13:21).
Did this make them God? Absolutely not. Miracles come from God, it doesn't make them God. Take a look at Benny Hinn, the biggest imposter (in my opinion) that I have ever seen. He claims to heal people with his hands, to see the spirit of the lord, to cast out demons and to order the angels to hug people, claims to be everything a prophet is... and others see him as a minister and thousands of people listen and follow him. Would you consider him , God? Astaghfirullah. It's the wrong reason to claim a person, God.
