Hadith: He who performs ablution properly, then comes to the Friday prayer and listens to it attentively and keeps silent, his sins between that Friday and the following Friday will be forgiven, with the addition of three more days; but he who touches a pebble has engaged in idle activity - Encyclopedia of Translated Prophetic Hadiths
Q: Is the gospel of branibas[sorry for wrong spelling] authentic? What are the contents of this bible? Should Christians follow this bible or the KJV?"
Muhammad zeeshan Ali khan asks:
"Salam my brother.
Wa alaykum assalam.
First, although irrelevant, I am a sister admin.
Secondly, there are debates on the authenticity of the Gospel of Barnabas because of the contradictions he has to the other gospels in the KJV. The rule of thumb for many Christians (and they can correct me if I am wrong) is that if its not in harmony or if it contradicts the gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke and John then its to be rejected. My viewpoint is that the Gospel of Barnabas has the snippets of the original teachings but like the other gospels has been tainted by unknown men who have added and taken away from the true words.
Thirdly, Gospel of Barnabas wasn't a bible by itself. It was a piece of what was omitted from the bible. As to whether they should follow it or their other gospels, it is for them to weigh the evidence and study both while seeking guidance and an open mind. I'm a Muslim so my job Is to call them to Islam and show the corruption spread by man. Not necessarily tell them which part of the corruption to take a bite out of.
Fourthly, the Gospel of Barnabas does hold the belief that the prophet Muhammad was the final messenger of God but it makes the serious mistake of saying he is the Messiah. Every Muslim knows that Isa (Jesus) is the Messiah. It also states there was not a crucifixation, that God is one and takes out the original sin. But just Because it states truth inside the teaches does not make its authenticity any more than the other gospels. To say so is to go against the Islamic view that isa (pbuh) is the Messiah.

Did Jesus die according to Islam?

Question:
Did Jesus die according to Islam?
Answer:
No. Quran says clearly,
And [for]their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah ." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but was made to resemble to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain. (Quran 4:157)
Islam is a faith beside Christianity that believes that Jesus was a Massiha or Christ.
And the Christ;son of David; according to the Torah prophecies weren't supposed to be dead.
But a king who would rule with might as prophet David (as) did, will establish a kingdom according to the scriptures and establish peace in his kingdom.
Christians have a misconception from their early beginning that Jesus was prophecied to die and quote Isaiah 53 which is again a misquoting and abusing of the scripture since G_d's chosen servant in Isaiah 53 is Israel not Jesus. Christian apologists have the tendency to take scriptures and fit them according to their ideologies.
