Is It Possible For A Person To Revile His Own Parents!?

Is It Possible For A Person To Revile His Own Parents!?
'Abdullāh bin `Amr bin Al-`Aas (رضي الله عنه) reported: The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said:
«مِنَ الْكَبَائِرِ أَنْ يَشْتُمَ الرَّجُلُ وَالِدَيْهِ»
❝It is one of the GRAVEST SINS TO ABUSE ONE'S PARENTS.❞
It was asked (by the people):
«يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَهَلْ يَشْتُمُ الرَّجُلُ وَالِدَيْهِ ؟»
❝O Messenger of Allāh! Can a man abuse his own parents?❞
The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said:
«يَسُبُّ الرَّجُلُ أَبَا الرَّجُلِ، فَيَسُبُّ أَبَاهُ، وَيَسُبُّ أَمَّهُ.»
❝He abuses the father of somebody who, in return, abuses the former's father; Then he abuses the mother of somebody who, in return, abuses his mother!❞ [Al-Bukhari & Muslim]
Commentary:
We learn from this Hadith that one should not abuse anyone's parents, because in the event, he is paid in the same coin, he will be responsible for disgracing his own parents! [Riyad as-Salihin: Book: 1, Hadith: 338]
The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) ordered not to revile one's parents by first uttering a stirring statement that invited the attention of the listener and showed the weight of the matter. Although it is against man's innate disposition to revile his parents, his insult of another person's parents could lead to that. As such, the hadith is evidence that a thing becomes forbidden if it basically leads to something forbidden. [Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 27]
