I EAT MY god
Narrated Umar ibn Al-Khattab's saying,
"There are things we used to do in Jahiliyyah,
one of them makes me laugh.
one of them makes me laugh.
I used to make a God (idol) of dates
that I put over my head to guard me during the night,
that I put over my head to guard me during the night,
then when I woke up and felt hungry I would eat my so called God,
and whenever I remember that I laugh at myself."
