God is Self-Sufficient

 God is Self-Sufficient, it does not befit His Majesty to take a son or wife, or to beget or to be begotten, and there is no similitude to Him.

In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate,

the Most Merciful

1. Say, “He is God, [who is] One

2. God, the Eternal Refuge.

3. He neither begets nor is born,

4. Nor is there to Him any equivalent.”
