Duʿāʾ for protection from every evil

Narrated ibn al-ʿAbbās رضي الله عنه:

The Prophet ﷺ used to seek Refuge with Allāh for Al-Ḥasan and Al-Ḥusayn and say: "Your forefather (i.e. Ibrāhīm) used to seek Refuge with Allāh for ʾIsmāʿīl and Isḥāq by reciting the following:

أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لاَمَّةٍ

[ʾAʿūḏu bikalimāti-llāhit-āmmah min kulli shayṭānin wahāmmah, wa min kulli ʿayinin lāmmah]

O Allāh! I seek Refuge with Your Perfect Words from every devil and from poisonous pests and from every evil, harmful, envious eye."

[Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 3371]
