Christians question why the Quran (5:116) criticizes them for worshipping Mary as a god, or why the Quran says that Mary is part of the Trinity. ?
first, the Quran does not say that Mary is part of the Trinity, Quran speaks about Mary being worshipped as diety.

Secondly Christians do worship Marry, Christians give mary titles which indicates that she is divine or holy like "Mother of God", "Gate of Heaven", "Holy Mary", "Queen of Heaven" ...etc
also Christian always claim that Mary has appeared through ages at various places on earth, indicating that she is supernatural or divine being. they also give here supernatural powers like miracles of healings...etc
