Moazzam Begg is a former Guantánamo Bay detainee, and currently the Director of Outreach for advocacy group CAGE.
His book ‘Enemy Combatant’ was the first book to be published by a former Guantánamo Bay prisoner, which has been translated into several languages and was featured in numerous British book festivals.
Moazzam appears extensively both in the British and international media, discussing issues surrounding imprisonment without trial, torture, anti-terror legislation and community relations.
Join him this Friday, 13th Feb in London along with an expert panel of journalists, thinkers and academics where they will be exploring the topic of freedom of speech, satirising religion, limits of the press and other related themes.
