How many Gods exist?
If we ask a Muslim, they must say that there is no God but Allah. Full stop, no questions asked.
If we ask a Christian, they must say: "there are two Gods". They at a minimum, cannot say one. Why?
"among whom the God of this age has blinded the minds of those who do not believe." - 2 Corinthians 4:4 (NET).
The word for "age" here also means "world". In the manuscript tradition the word "God" here is written in the same way when it refers to "God our Father" (in the nomina sacra form), thus it is not a "lesser" God in any sense. No small "g".
How then do we proceed? Is this not a form of henotheism?
