These things have no basis in Islam.⚠

These things have no basis in Islam.
Allah is angry with the one who uses these 🆗
Pray salat (namaz), recite the Qur'an, rely on Allah, make dhikr, this is the solution.
And distribute it to all, send it away, for this is the most dangerous, the greatest sin.
#QUESTION
My mother had given me a taweez when I was 12 years old! now I am 22 .. I had never questioned her about the authenticity of wearing a taweez as I thought it was right since it contained Allah's ayat .. but nowadays I am seeing in Facebook that it's not right to wear taweez if one can recite duas.. so I told my mother I won't wear taweez.. as I recite Ayatul Qursi daily.. but mother is very angry on me now .. she is telling me to wear the taweez .. . I don't know what to do.. plz help me out .. this has become a mental stress between me and my mother.. I tried to explain her a lot but she doesn't understand! According to her the taweez has Allah's sura so it's not haram and it will protect me.
#ANSWER
The scholars unanimously agreed that amulets (taweez) containing anything other than duas from Sunnah or aayaat from Quran are not permissible. If taweez contain mumbo jumbo i.e. weird shapes, lines, words, diagrams, unreadable writing, names of angels, names of Sahabah, names of awaliyas, numbers or Qur'anic aayaat with some change in some letters etc. then this is shirk. And hanging them up or wearing them is shirk and it is not permissible under any circumstances.
The Sahabah and the scholars differ with regards to amulets that contain anything from Qur'an and Sunnah.
According to Ayesha RA, 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'Aas, Muhammad ibn 'Ali, Ibn al-Qayyim and others say that it is permissible to wear amulets that contain Qur'anic aayaat and duas from Sunnah. (Before Mu'auwidhat "Surah An- Naas & Surah Al-Falaq was revealed)
According to the majority of Sahabah such as Abdullah ibn 'Amr, 'Uqbah ibn 'Aamir, 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ood and most scholars of the past and present it is Makrooh and not permissible. Because the Messenger of Allah sallAllahu a'alihe wassallam said, “Whoever wears an amulet, may Allah not fulfill his need, and whoever wears a sea-shell, may Allah not give him peace.”
📙[Ahmad, 16951]
When The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ saw a brass bangle on a man’s upperarm, he said to him: ‘Woe be on you! What is this?’ The man replied that it was to protect him from a sickness called al-Wahinah (weakness) The Prophet then said, ‘Cast it off, for verily it would only increase your weakness. And if you died with it on, you would never succeed.’
📚(Collected by Ibn Majah, Ahmed and Ibn Hibban)
It is better and safer to follow the opinion of the majority of the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and stay away from taweez in any form.
If your mother still refuses to accept this fact, then don't argue with her and do not create tension. Rather open the amulet (case) and remove the paper that contains Qur'anic aayaat and wear the empty amulet for few weeks/months and then explain to her that without wearing the taweez you're still under Allah's protection and the protection comes from Allah, not from Taweez. No doubt the Qur’an is healing, and this includes healing of the heart (mental or spiritual disease) and physical healing.
#However, it is important to understand that ultimate goodness and blessing is connected and is dependent upon the understanding of the Qur’an and acting upon it. If you recite it regularly and act upon it, then it will be a source of many kinds of healing and protection
📍"Additional protection from evil"
---------------------------------------------------------
You can also recite this dua'a (prayer) 3 times in the morning and 3 times in the evening for protection from all evil:
"There is no person who says, in the morning and evening of every day: (بِسْمِ اللَّهِ) In the name of Allah (الَّذِي لاَ يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَىْءٌ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلاَ فِي السَّمَاءِ) with Whose Name nothing on earth or in heaven harms (وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ) and He is the All-Hearing the All-Knowing (ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ) 3 times (فَيَضُرَّهُ شَىْءٌ) and is then harmed by anything"
📒Sahih ibn Majah
And Allah knows best
