Don't only work for yourself but also help your neighbours!
Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said: “Jibreel kept urging me that neighbours should be treated well until I thought he would make them heirs.” Al-Bukhari (6015) and Muslim (2625)
