Relativism in the Qur'an and Sunnah
The Qur’an and Sunnah preceded modern science in speaking about relativism, and on several levels.
The first level we find in the Book of Allah in His saying, the Most High:
(And they ask you to hasten the punishment, and Allah will never break His promise. Indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of what you count) (47) Q. Hajj
At the level of our solar system, time differs from one orbit to another, and each planet has its time and the number of its days in the year, and every place in the universe has its time as well,
(And indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of what you count).
The planet "Uranus", for example, the sun rises above its north pole, and daylight continues for 42 years continuously, and when it sets, darkness and night continue for 42 years as well.
Year in Pluton: 248 years
The year in the planet Uranus: 84 years
The year on the planet Neptune: 165 years
The year on Mars: 687 days
The year on Venus: 225 days
The Year on Mercury: 88 days
The Year on Saturn: 30 days
The Year on Jupiter: 12 years
For today:
Mercury: 58 days and 16 hours.
Venus: 243 days, 26 minutes
Earth: 23 hours and 56 minutes
Mars: 24 hours and 36 minutes
Jupiter: 9 hours and 55 minutes
Saturn: 10 hours and 33 minutes
Uranus: 17 hours and 14 minutes
Neptune: 16 hours.
As for the rotation around the sun, since the discovery of the planet Pluto in 1930 AD
It was excluded from its classification as a planet in 2006 AD that did not complete one cycle around the sun.
Because it actually takes Pluto 248 years to complete one orbit.
