Beauty is but a passing of the wind. You can't hold on to it. Most Muslims always get taken in by their eyeballs. They see a male or female that looks good and that becomes the main focus. It's okay to appreciate beauty.
Beauty is in everything ALLAH subhanahu wa taala has Created. But when it comes to humans we don't want to worship anybody's looks. When looking for a marriage partner search for the spiritual beauty. The glow on the face that's there because the love for ALLAH Subhanahu wa ta'ala is so deep and so strong. This kind of glow doesn't wash off like makeup does. It is internal. Really that should be the motivating factor when choosing a spouse.
The internal beauty veiled in modesty, morals, values, and deep rooted faith. Things can change in an instant. You marry a gorgeous person and they become disfigured because of illness or accident or bad character. Don't put too much emphasis on looks. Love a person for the sake of ALLAH not their face. If you fall in love with someone for the right reasons you will not be disappointed. ALLAH will bless your union in unimaginable ways.
