As-salamu'alaykum <<First Name>>, iERA is leading the way with a series of intellectual discussions on a number of topics throughout 2015, kicking off with The Eternal Challenge. This one day workshop is coming to Philadelphia and is designed to empower you with the tools and concepts to successfully articulate the linguistic miracle of the Qur'an. By attending, you will be able to reconcile and understand revelation in our age of science and reason. THIS WEEKEND PHILADELPHIA, USA - SATURDAY 11TH APRIL This workshop will address the following questions: Is science the only way to the truth? How do we understand science and revelation? What is a miracle? What is the intellectual challenge of the Qur'an? How do we respond to academic, orientalist and popular objections? What makes the Qur'an a literary miracle? What are its philosophical implications? How do we articulate the miracle to non-Arabs? The workshop has been designed for academics and non-academics alike, to give you the skills to articulate a positive case for the Qur'an in an age of science and reason. On the same day, Hamza will be delivering a short seminar at the Islamic Society of Delaware entitled "Call of Duty: A Call to Action", which will teach the partisans how to articulate the compassionate and intelligent message of Islam.
