Ibn Umar said:
The Apostle of Allah (SAW) said: Trim closely the moustache, and let the beard grow.
Narrated by Muslim

عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " أَحْفُوا الشَّوَارِبَ وَأَعْفُوا اللِّحَى " .
