Al Aqsa

قناة الهدى
As Muslims, we ask ourselves today, is our hearts aching for what’s happening in Al Aqsa. Does our faith drive our hearts to feel the pain of our brothers and sisters suffering in Palestine. Does our real love for Masjid Al Aqsa inspire us to constantly make sincere du’a for its liberation.
If this is just another piece of news that we allow to pass by, then we have failed to understand true faith and the concept of brotherhood. The prophet (peace & blessings be upon him) said: “The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.” (Al- Bukhari)
If our hearts are not deeply moved by the events taking place in Al-Aqsa, then it’s time we do something about it. It’s time for us to make an effort to educate ourselves on the history of Masjid Al Aqsa in order to increase our love and appreciation for it. It’s time to educate ourselves on the first Qibla for the Muslims, the third holiest mosque in Islam, the place of Al-Isra (the miraculous journey of the Prophet) in which all Prophet’s gathered to pray behind our beloved Prophet Muhammed (peace & blessings be upon him), the land in which Allah mentioned in the Quran as it being blessed and its surroundings blessed, the sacred land in which many Prophets lived, died & were buried in and the land in which Muslims have given up their wealth, family & lives to liberate.
The Prophet ﷺ said, ‘’How blessed is al-Sham’’! The companions around asked: ‘’Why is that’’? The messenger ﷺ replied, ‘’The angels of the Most Merciful spread their wings over it’’. (Ahmad & Timidhi)
We pray that Allah liberates Masjid Al Aqsa. We pray that He protects the Palestinian people and grant them a soon victory over our enemies.
The Prophet (peace & blessings be upon him) said, ‘’A group of my community will remain on truth, they will vanquish their enemy and those who disagree with them will not be able to harm them until Allah commands’’. ‘’Where are these people’’? The companions asked. The Prophet ﷺ replied, ‘’in and around al-Quds (Jerusalem).’’ [Ahmad]
