,, Don’t lose your Deen for this Dunya, because many have done just that !

,, So this person would wake up as a believer, then someone would come and say to him; forsake the Salat and we will give you this and that. Say that fornication is permissible, say that alcohol is permissible, and we would give you such and such, or they would say to him; do not be with the believers, and we will give you such and such to be with the disbelievers. So he would sell his religion for a worldly gain, and the evening or morning would come and he would be in a state of disbelief.

,, It has been authentically established that he (the Prophet, may Allah raise his rank and grant him peace) said, as part of a long hadeeth:

“Rush to perform (good) deeds now, before fitan (trials and tribulations) of pitch-black darkness (appear), wherein a man wakes up as a believer and becomes a disbeliever by nightfall, and another man goes to bed as a believer and wakes up as a disbeliever, selling his Religion for some worldly commodities.” (Saheeh Muslim)

,, Sura Al-Hadid, Ayat 20

You should know that the life of this world is only play and amusement, a show and boasting among yourselves, a quest for greater riches and more children. Its similitude is that of vegetation that flourish after rain: the growth of which delights the tillers, then it withers and you see it turn yellow, soon it becomes dry and crumbles away. In the hereafter there will be either severe punishment or forgiveness from Allah and His good pleasure. The life of this world is nothing but an illusion.
