Almost all races and nations usually suffer 'Historical Amnesia' over their former empires who ruled for a certain period of time...we usually brag out loud at our past (what we had achieved) as well as at our present (what we just achieved) but we usually forget those things what we didn't and couldn't achieve...Problem with us that we don't bother to study history, therefore we don't learn from history and we are doomed to repeat those mistakes over and over...That is why, history always repeats itself...

From the collapse of ancient Rome to the fall of the Mayan empire, evidence from archaeology suggests that 5 factors have almost invariably been involved in the loss of civilizations:

1) uncontrollable population movements;

2) new epidemic diseases;

3) failing states leading to increased warfare;

4) collapse of trade routes leading to famine;

5) climate change.
