The Italian city of Pompeii
(the cursed city..)
The five villages of Lot's (Lotus) people were not the last villages that were destroyed by God Almighty because of immorality and the practice of vice with men and showing off in front of the public, but this is the story of another village that happened after them for a long time, which is the Roman city of Pompeii at the time of Emperor Nero, in which about twenty thousand people lived, and today nothing remains from the city except its ancient ruins.
The city is located at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, which rises 1,200 meters above sea level, near the Gulf of Naples in Italy.
Its people used to practice adultery and homosexuality with men, women, children, and even animals, and they bragged about it openly, even in front of children and in the streets.
There were brothels everywhere, and small rooms spread to practice vice, in which there was only a mattress. Its merchants and elders enjoyed pornographic scenes when they ordered their slaves to practice Sex with maids and with animals before their eyes, they used to draw pornographic pictures on the walls of their homes in front of children, women and adults, so that researchers today consider that the art of pornography began in this city, and its affluent people enjoyed watching wrestling between humans and predatory animals that ended with the death of one of them ... and they were rich so much so that you can find pieces of gold in the streets without anyone turning to them!!!
On a quiet morning in the year 74 A.D., the mountain overlooking the city suddenly shook. It was the explosion of a huge volcano, its ash rose to 9 miles into the sky, and a large amount of lava came out of it, then the ashes fell on them like rain and buried the city 75 feet below.
The city remained buried for 1,700 years under a large amount of ashes, and remained so for centuries until an engineer found it while he was working on digging a canal in the area.
The corpses were discovered, and it was a surprise that they appeared in the same shapes and forms, after the volcanic dust replaced the moist living cells to appear in the form of cement corpses, and they perished as they were.
They were surrounded by a hot wave of flaming ash, with a temperature of 500 degrees Celcius, very quickly, as it covered 7 miles to the beach, and the bodies appeared as their bodies, and the bodies were petrified as they are, so some appeared sleeping, others sitting, and others sitting on the seashore and in all positions with their fat and flesh.
Scientists have found that not a single corpse shows any sign of readiness to protect itself or even flee, and none of them showed any reaction, even a simple one, and it is most likely that they died very quickly without any opportunity to act, and all this happened in less than a fraction of a second.

And now that the city has become a tourist attraction for tourists, some areas in it are prohibited for children under 18 years of age to enter because of pornographic drawings, especially on some buildings and bathrooms that were offering pleasure to their customers.
That was the Italian city of "Pompeii", the village of indecency that God destroyed and became an example to all nations!
Allah says
*فَمَا زَالَت تِّلْكَ دَعْوَىٰهُمْ حَتَّىٰ جَعَلْنَٰهُمْ حَصِيدًا خَٰمِدِينَ*
--------------------*****--------------------
And that declaration of theirs did not cease until We made them [as] a harvest [mowed down], extinguished [like a fire].
