Who wrote the book of Samuel? = Samuel

Who wrote the book of Joshua? = Joshua

Who wrote Deuteronomy = Moses?

1Sam 25:1: "And Samuel died; and all the Israelites were gathered together, and lamented him, and buried him in his house at Ramah. And David arose, and went down to the wilderness of Paran."

He was writing when he was dead and wrote where he was buried

1Sam 28:3: "Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land."

And he came back the second time, he wrote that he died and the place where he was buried

Josh 24:29-30: "And it came to pass after these things, that Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being an hundred and ten years old.

And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnathserah, which is in mount Ephraim, on the north side of the hill of Gaash."

He used to write while he was dead in his grave and write his burial place

Deu 34:7-8: "And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated. And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended."

He was writing when he was dead, but he did not write where he was buried
