Qur’an 26:181-184
Esa/Eshoa-Jesus a Prophet of Allah/The One God مع Alex Haddad و١٠ آخرين.
‘ In The Name of Allah (God,The Creator), The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful: ‘Woe to those that deal in fraud,-Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, exact full measure, But when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due. Do they not think that they will be called to account?- A Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the Worlds? Nay! Surely the record of the wicked is (preserved) in ‘Sijjin’. And what will explain to thee what ‘Sijjin’ is? (There is) a Register (fully) inscribed. Woe, that Day, to those that deny- Those that deny the Day of Judgment. And none can deny it but the Transgressor beyond bounds the Sinner! When Our Signs are rehearsed to him, he says, "Tales of the ancients!" By no means! but on their hearts is the stain of the (ill) which they do! Verily, from (the Light of) their Lord, that Day, will they be veiled. Further, it will be said to them: "This is the (reality) which ye rejected as false! Day, verily the record of the Righteous is (preserved) in 'Illiyin’ And what will explain to thee what 'Illiyun is?’_Qur’an 83:1-19
" Verily! God(The Creator) commands that you should render back the trusts to those, to whom they are due; and that when you judge between men, you judge with justice. Verily, how excellent is the teaching which He (The Creator) gives you! Truly, God(The Creator) is Ever All-Hearer, All-Seer._Qur’an 4:58
The Submission to the Creator alone in peace (‘Islam’) has stressed and asserted the importance of honesty in monetary dealings and highlighted its vital role in social stability and peacefulness.
The Qur’an (‘Recital’)-The final revelation of The Creator, and Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) have made it clear to us that the true Submitter to The Creator alone in peace (‘Muslim’) is he who is honest and upright in his business and monetary dealing with others, even if they weren’t ‘Muslims’. Also the true Submitter to The Creator alone in peace (‘Muslim’) should keep his word and fulfill his promises, shun fraud and avoid deceit and perfidy, encroach not upon the rights of others, nor take part in wrongful litigation. Also a good Submitter to The Creator alone in peace (‘Muslim’) does not give false testimony, and abstains from making unlawful money as from usury and graft. According to The Submission to the Creator alone in peace (‘Islam’) whoever is not free from these vices is not a true believer but a renegade and a worthless transgressor.
And the Qur’an is is rich with verses that confirms all this. The Creator says in the Qur’an:
"Oh ye who believe! Eat not up your property among yourselves unjustly: But let there be amongst you Traffic and trade by mutual good-will: Nor kill (or destroy) yourselves: for verily Allah hath been to you Most Merciful!" _Qur’an (4:29)
Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) has stressed the importance of honesty in most of his sermons, saying:
"Remember, there is no faith in him who is not trustworthy; there is no place for him in religion who cares not for his pledged word or promise."
He (PBUH) also said:
“The signs of a hypocrite are three: when he speaks, he lies, when he promises, he broke his promise; and when he is trusted, he plays false."
Condemning those who cheat in business Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) has said:
"He who cheats is not of us. Deceitfulness and fraud are things that lead one to Hell."
Once Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) came upon a heap of corn in the market of Madinah and thrust his hand onto it. His fingers felt damp. On being asked, the trader replied that rain had fallen upon it. The Prophet (PBUH) observed,
"Why did you not then keep (the wet portion of) it above the dry corn, so that men may see it? He who deceives, is not one of us."
Thus traders who deceive by showing to customers a false sample or by concealing from them the defects of the product they’re selling are going against the commandment of the Creator, if they don’t repent of their act and ask for forgiveness will end up in hell.
Another example: Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said:
"The seller must explain to the buyer the defects, if any, in the quality of the article offered for sale. Should this not be done, the seller will permanently be caught in the Wrath of the Creator(according to another narrator the exact words, ‘he will always be cursed by the angels')."
In short, all manner of deceit and dishonesty in business is prohibited in the Submission to the Creator alone in peace (‘Islam’). It has been proclaimed to be an act worthy of unqualified condemnation. The Prophet [PBUH] has expressed his strong dislike for those who do so. He has said he will have nothing to do with them; they do not belong to him.
Likewise, bribery and usury, although might be practiced by mutual consent and agreement, are totally prohibited and forbidden and those who are guilty of them have been condemned by Allah and His Prophet (PBUH). Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said:
"The curse of God(The Creator) rests on him who offers loan on usurious terms, and on him who receives, and on those who are witnesses to the transaction, and on the writer who writes the deed thereof."
As for bribery, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) according has "condemned alike the giver of bribes, and the taker of bribes in deciding cases."
Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said:
"If a person made a recommendation for anyone in a just manner and gratified party gave him something as a gift (in return for it) and he accepted it, then he committed a grave error (meaning that it, too, is a form of bribery)."
Usurpation of another's property by force or fraud or dishonest litigation is even worse. Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) made this clear, as he says:
"Whoever occupies land belonging to another unjustly will be sunk into the ground along with the plot of land on the Doomsday till he reaches the lowest layer of the earth."
Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) again, is reported to have warned a person who was very fond of entering into litigation with others in these strong words:
”Remember, he who will obtain the property of another by swearing a false oath will appear as a leper before God (The Creator) on the Day of Judgement.”
And, again he (PBUH) said:
“Whoever laid a claim on a thing that was not his is not of us.”
The Creator says in His final revelation - The Qur'an(Recital):
"Give just measure, and cause no loss (to others by fraud). And weigh with scales true and upright. And withhold not things justly due to men, nor do evil in the land, working mischief. And fear Him Who created you and (who created) the generations before (you)"_Qur’an 26:181-184
Prophet Adam
Peace-Islam: The Solution For Humanity مع Azhar Babi.
Prophet Adam
Part 4
standing at a distance Adam did not know what kind of creature it was that did not prostrate before him nor did he know its name. Iblis was standing with the angels so as to be included in the command given to them but he was not one of them. He was a jinn, and as such he was supposed to be inferior to the angels. What is clear is that this prostration was to show respect and did not mean that the angels were worshiping Adam. Prostrating in worship is done only for Allah.. Almighty Allah recounted the story of Iblis's refusal to prostate before Adam:
"Remember when your Lord said to the angels, 'I am going to create a man (Adam) from sounding clay of altered black smooth mud. So when I have fashioned him completely and breathed into him (Adam) the soul which I created for him then fall you down prostrating
yourselves unto him'. So the angels prostrated themselves all of them together, except Iblis, he refused to be among the prostrators. Allah said: 'O Iblis! What is your reason for not being among the prostrators?' Iblis said: 'I am not the one to prostrate myself to a human being, whom You created from sounding clay of altered black smooth mud.' Allah said: 'Then get out from here for verily you are Rajim (an outcast or cursed one). Verily the curse shall be upon you till Day of Recompense (Day of Resurrection)'". (Ch 15:28-35 Quran).
In another surah Almighty Allah recounted it thus:
"Surely We created you (your father Adam) and then gave you shape (the noble shape of a
human being), then We told the angels: 'Prostrate to Adam and they prostrated except Iblis he
refused to be of those who prostrate".
Allah said: "What prevented you Iblis that you did not prostrate when I commanded you?" Iblis
said: 'I am better than him (Adam), You created me from fire and him You created from clay.' Allah said: 'Get down from this Paradise, it is not for you to be arrogant here. Get out, for you are of those humiliated and disgraced.' Iblis said: 'Allow me respite till the Day of Resurrection).' Allah said: 'You are of those allowed respite.'" (Ch 7:11-15 Quran).
Ibn Jarir reported that Muhammad Ibn sirin said that the first one to reach a conclusion by reasoning was Iblis and that the sun and moon were not worshiped except through this method. This means that Iblis tried to compare himself to Adam. He believed that he was more honorable than Adam. Therefore he abstained from prostrating even though Allah had commanded him to do so, just as He had commanded the angels.
If an analogy is made we see that Iblis is vain. For indeed clay is better than fire because in it can be found the qualities of calmness, clemency, perseverance and growth; whereas in fire can be found heedlessness, insignificance, haste, and incineration. Iblis tried in vain to justify his refusal:
"Shall I prostrate to one whom You created from clay?" Iblis said: "See? those whom You have honored above me, if You give me respite (keep me alive) to the Day of Resurrection, I will surely seize and mislead his offspring (by sending them astray) all but a few!" (Ch 17:62 Quran).
Adam was following what was happening around him and had feelings of love, awe, and astonishment. Deep love of Allah,Who had created and glorified him and Who had made His angels prostrate before him. Awe of the Creator's wrath when He excluded Iblis from His mercy. Adam was surprised by this creature, Iblis who abhorred him without even knowing him and who imagined himself better than Adam without having proved that he was worthier. What a strange creature Iblis was, and how strange was his excuse for not prostrating!
He imagined that fire is better than clay, but how did he get such an idea? Such knowledge is exclusive to Allah Who created fire and clay and Who knows which is the better of the two. From the dialogue Adam realized that Iblis was a creature characterized by cunning and ingratitude. He then knew that Iblis was his eternal enemy. He was greatly astonished at Iblis's
audacity and Allah's tolerance. Immediately after his creation Adam witnessed the large amount of freedom that Allah gives to His commissioned creatures.
Allah knew that Iblis was not going to obey Him in prostrating before Adam. Allah could have totally annihilated him or turned him into a handful of dust or stifled the refusal in his mouth. Yet, Allah gives His commissioned creatures absolute freedom even to the extent that they can refuse Allah the Almighty's commands. He grants them the freedom of denial, disobedience, and even disagreement with Him. His kingdom will not diminish if the disbelievers do not believe in Him nor will it be extended if many people believe in Him. On the contrary, the disbelievers will lose, and the believers will gain but Allah is above all of that.
There were many traditions about Iblis at the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Ibn Masud, Ibn Abbas and a group of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that Iblis had been the head of the angels in the worldly heavens. Ibn Abbas said in one narration that his name had been Azazil and in another narration he said it had been Al Harith. Ibn Abbas also said that Iblis was a jinn and that they had once been the keepers of Paradise, with Iblis the most honorable and the most learned and the most pious of them. Another tradition says that he had been one of
the famous four possessors of wings (angels), before Allah transformed him into the accursed Satan.
Allah Almighty recounts Iblis's disobedience in another surah:
"Remember when your Lord said to the angels: 'Truly I am going to create man from clay. So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him.' So the angels prostrated themselves all of them; except Iblis, he was proud and was one of the disbelievers." Allah said: "The truth is, and the truth I say, that I will fill Hell with you and those of them (mankind) that follow you together." (Ch 38:71-85 Quran).
