Son of Mary will descend”
Son of Mary will descend” means Jesus will return near the end of time, “as a just ruler” means he will rule with justice according to Islamic law, “break the cross” means he will expose and end false beliefs about his divinity, “kill the swine” means he will enforce what is lawful and unlawful in Islam, and “abolish the jizyah” means only Islam will be accepted and no other religion will remain.

A recurrent objection is the claim that “it is apocrypha,” as though this assertion alone resolves the matter. However, such an objection exposes an internal inconsistency: the same apocryphal material is treated as sufficiently credible by various Christian traditions when identifying the names of Mary’s parents.
A comparable issue arises with respect to the criteria by which certain texts were admitted into, or excluded from, the fallible canon of the Gospels. If one rejects information from the Protevangelium of James, it becomes necessary to articulate the methodological basis for doing so and to explain the principles by which some elements are accepted while others are dismissed.
This inconsistency becomes particularly evident when Muslims cite the apocryphal Protevangelium of James to highlight that Mary, the mother of Jesus, is described as being twelve years old at the time of her marriage to an elderly Joseph, traditionally said—according to the same text—to be approximately ninety years of age.
Such citations are often met with strong criticism, despite the fact that the same text is utilised within Christian tradition to support other historical claims, including the identification of Mary’s parents. This selective use reflects a methodological inconsistency and raises important questions regarding the standards applied in evaluating apocryphal sources.

Islam is the name of that same religion that was sent by the Creator to the first man whom He appointed as His Prophet, Adam (Peace be upon him). When people moved away from the Straight Path of Islam brought by Prophet Adam (Peace be upon him), Allah sent in succession, Prophets after Prophets to invite mankind to the same deen of Islam. Prophet Noah (Peace be upon him), Prophet Abraham (Peace be upon him), Prophet Moses (Peace be upon him), Prophet Jesus (Peace be upon him), etc. all came in the same succession, followed the same deen of Islam and were all muslims. Everytime the people moved away from the deen of Islam brought by their Prophets, the Creator sent another Prophet in their succession. In the same succession, the Creator sent his Last and Final Prophet, Mohamed ar-Rasool Allah (Peace be upon him) with His Last and Final Message, the Quran, to guide mankind unto the Straight Path.
Respected Brothers and Sisters:
Islam is not a new religion because ‘submission to the will of God’, i.e. Islam, has always been the only acceptable religion in the sight of God. For this reason, Islam is the true ‘natural religion’, and it is the same eternal message revealed through the ages to all of God’s Prophets and messengers. The main message of all the Prophets has always been that there is only One True God and He alone is to be worshipped.
God says in the Holy Quran:
“We did not send before you (O Muhammad) any messenger but We revealed to him: ‘none has the right to be worshipped except I, therefore worship Me.’”
(Quran 21:25)
However, the true message of these prophets was either lost or got corrupted over time. Even the most recent books, the Torah and the Gospel were adulterated.
Allah, says :
“Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands and then say, "This is from Allah," to purchase with it a little price! Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for that they earn thereby”(al-Baqarah 2:79).
So hence Torah and Gospel lost their credibility to guide the people to the right path. Therefore 600 years after Prophet Jesus Peace Be Upon Him, God revived the lost message of previous Prophets by sending the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him with His final revelation, the Holy Quran, to all of mankind.
Allah says in Quran:
O People of the Scripture(Jew and Christians), there has come to you Our Messenger(Mohammad) making clear to you much of what you used to conceal of the Scripture and overlooking much. There has come to you from Allah a light and a clear Book(Quran).Chapter 5 verse 15.
Since the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him was the final Prophet, God Himself has promised to preserve His last revealed words so that it is a source of guidance for all humanity till the Last Day. It is now imperative for everyone to believe and follow this final message from God.
God Almighty says in the Quran:
“We have not sent you (O Muhammad) but to all mankind as a giver of good news and as a warner, but most people do not know.” (Quran34:28)
so islam is the religion of All prophets and Messengers of God.Islam, has always been the only acceptable religion in the sight of God.
Allah says in Quran.
Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam. And whoever desires other than Islam as religion - never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.[Chapter 3:19 & 3:85]
