মনে করুন,
মনে করুন, আপনি ডুবে যাচ্ছেন। এবং আপনি অসচেতন। এখানে দুটি বিষয়। আপনি ডুবে যাচ্ছেন, একইসাথে অসচেতনও। আপনার কি বেঁচে থাকার জন্য তখন বেশি সময় আছে? আপনি যদি ডুবতে থাকেন, একইসাথে অসচেতন হোন, আপনার হাতে কি খুব বেশি সময় আছে? না। তার মানে, আপনার সময় ফুরিয়ে যাচ্ছে। এখানে ‘সময় ফুরিয়ে যাচ্ছে’ বোঝাতে আরবীতে কোন শব্দটি ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে জানেন? সেই শব্দটি ٱلْعَصْرِ, শব্দগতভাবে ‘আসর’ মানে এমন সময় যা ফুরিয়ে যাচ্ছে। দিনের শেষাংশে যখন দিন ফুরিয়ে যায়, তখন আমরা আসর নামাজ পড়ি।
আসর শব্দটি عصير থেকে এসেছে। এর অর্থ জুস। জুস ধীরে ধীরে নিঃশেষ হয়ে যায়। সেভাবে সময়ও আপনার হাত থেকে নিঃশেষ হয়ে যাচ্ছে। এমনভাবে বলা হচ্ছে যেন আপনি কোনো কাপড় পানিতে ডুবিয়ে রেখেছেন, সেখান থেকে তুলে আপনি যেভাবে এটাকে নিংড়ে নেন, যাতে সব পানি বের হয়ে যায়, عَصْر শব্দটি দিয়ে ঠিক এমনটা বুঝায়। নিংড়ে নেয়া।
তাহলে আল্লাহ এখানে বলছেন, আপনি ডুবছেন, আপনি অসচেতন, একইসাথে আপনার সময় নিঃশেষ হয়ে যাচ্ছে। আপনি যদি এমন একটি অবস্থায় থাকেন, তাহলে বাঁচার জন্য আপনাকে সর্বপ্রথম কী করতে হবে? প্রথমে আপনাকে জেগে উঠতে হবে, সচেতন হতে হবে। এটাই আপনাকে প্রথমে করতে হবে। আপনার যদি চেতনা না থাকে, তাহলে আপনি শেষ। বাঁচার জন্য প্রথম শর্ত আপনাকে জেগে উঠতে হবে।
এমনকি যদি আপনি সবচেয়ে সুন্দরতম স্বপ্নের মধ্যেও থাকেন, সেই স্বপ্নে আপনি হয়ত বিশেষ কোনো সাফল্য উপভোগে ব্যস্ত। আপনি হয়ত ফেরারী গাড়ি চালাচ্ছেন। বিভিন্ন অ্যাডে দেখেননি? সেখানে রাস্তার একপাশে পাহাড় থাকে, অন্যপাশে স্বচ্ছ পানি। এরকমই একটা গাড়িতে আপনি হয়ত প্রচণ্ড গতিতে গাড়ি ছুটিয়ে নিয়ে যাচ্ছেন। এভাবেই জীবনটা উপভোগ করছেন। এসবই আপনার স্বপ্ন। কিন্তু যখন আপনি জেগে উঠবেন, আপনি কি অনুভব করবেন? আপনি ডুবে যাচ্ছেন। আপনি পানির নিচে। তাই বেঁচে থাকার প্রথম শর্ত—আপনাকে জেগে উঠতে হবে।
আপনি যখন জেগে উঠবেন, হয়ত বলবেন, ‘ভাই, এ কী জঘন্য বাস্তবতা! আমি তো সুন্দর স্বপ্নের মধ্যে ছিলাম। আমার আবার ঘুমানো উচিত’। আপনি যদি এটা করেন, তাহলে আপনি কেমন মানুষ? পাগল! আপনি তো পাগল! অথবা আপনি এমন কেউ যার বাস্তবতা মেনে নেয়ার সৎসাহস নেই। কারণ, আপনি দেখেছেন বাস্তবতা খুবই কঠিন। তাই আপনি জেগে ওঠার পরেও পুনরায় ঘুমাতে যাওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছেন। এরকম একজন মানুষ যদি ডুবে যায়, সে কি কাউকে দোষারোপ করতে পারবে? না। কেউ হয়ত কখনোই ঘুম থেকে উঠল না। কিন্তু যে একবার জেগেছে, উঠে বলল, ‘নাহ, এটা ভালো লাগছে না’। তারপর আবার ঘুমাতে গেল। তবে তারা নিজেদের ছাড়া কাউকে দোষ দিতে পারবে না।
তাহলে, ধরুন তারা জেগে উঠলো। এখন কী করতে হবে? ওহ, বিরক্ত লাগছে। আমি ডুবে যাচ্ছি। আপনি যদি সাতার কাটতে নাও জানেন, আপনি কি আপনার শরীরের সর্বশক্তি দিয়ে তীরে ওঠার চেষ্টা করবেন না? আপনি পানির নিচে একভাবে হাতড়ে কিছুটা নিচে নামবেন, আবার অন্যভাবে হাতড়ে কিছুটা উপরে উঠবেন। যখন আপনি বুঝবেন, এভাবে হাতড়ে আপনি পানির উপরে উঠতে পারছেন, আপনি শুধু সেভাবে চেষ্টা করবেন, তাই না? তাহলে,
প্রথমে আপনাকে জেগে উঠতে হবে।
দ্বিতীয়ত, আপনাকে সাতার কাটতে হবে।
আপনাকে তীরে উঠতে হলে কিছু না কিছু করতেই হবে। আপনি হয়ত তীরেও উঠলেন, এরপর বড় একটা দম নিলেন। হঠাত দেখলেন, আপনাকে কেউ ধরে আবার পানির দিকে টানছে। পা ধরে টানছে। কে পা ধরে টানছে? আপনি না দেখলে বিশ্বাস করতেন না। আপনার এক আত্মীয়ের সাথে আপনার পায়ে একটা শিকল লাগানো আছে। আপনার এক কাজিন, সেও ঘুমাচ্ছে এবং আপনাকে টানছে।
এখন আপনি আপনার ঘুমন্ত কাজিনের কারণে ডুবে যাচ্ছেন। এখন আপনি কী করবেন? নিশ্চয় তাকে জাগাবেন। আপনি কিন্তু তাকে বাঁচানোর জন্য তাকে ডাকছেন না, আপনি কাকে বাঁচানোর জন্য ডাকছেন? হতে পারে, আপনি আসলে তাকে বাঁচাতে চান। আবার এও হতে পারে, আপনি তাকে পছন্দ করেন না। আমি এটা জানি না। কিন্তু এখন আসল ব্যাপারটা কী? আসল ব্যাপারটা হলো, আপনি তাকে জাগাতে চান কারণ আপনি যদি তাকে না জাগান, তাহলে তার সাথে আপনিও ডুবে যাবেন। তাই আপনি তাকে জাগালেন।
সে উঠে বলল, ‘ভাই তুমি আমাকে জাগালে কেন? আমি তো স্বপ্নে ফেরারী চালাচ্ছিলাম। তুমি আমাকে কোনো কারণ ছাড়াই জাগালে? আমি আবার ঘুমাতে যাচ্ছি। তুমি যাও’।
আপনি কী তাকে বলবেন, ‘আরে আমি তোমাকে এমনিতেই পছন্দ করি না। যা ইচ্ছা করো!’ আপনি সেটা করবেন না। সে যদি আবার ঘুমাতে যায়, আপনি কী করবেন? ‘না ভাই, ওঠো, ওঠো। আমাদের যেতে হবে।’ আপনি হাল ছাড়বেন না। আপনি এটা মানতে পারবেন না। যতক্ষণ না সে পুরোপুরি উঠে ততক্ষণ আপনি তাকে উঠানোর চেষ্টা চালিয়ে যাবেন। সে উঠে বলল, ‘আচ্ছা এখন কী করতে হবে?’ আপনি তাকে বললেন, ‘চলো, একসাথে সাতার কাটি’। আপনারা একসাথে সাতার কাটছেন। এরপর দেখলেন, এবার আপনাদের দাদি আপনাদের দুজনের পা টানছে। এরপর আপনার আন্টি, আপনার প্রতিবেশী, আপনার মেয়ে, আপনার ছেলে, এটা চলতেই থাকবে। এদেরকে বাঁচানোর জন্য চারটি ধাপ আছে।
প্রথম, তাদের ঘুম ভাঙাতে হবে।
তারপর তারা সাতার কাটবে।
তারপর তারা অন্যদের বলবে, কেননা তারাও শিকলে আবদ্ধ।
এটাই সত্যি। ঘুম থেকে ওঠো! এমনকি তারা যদি ক্লান্ত হয়ে পড়ে, কেউ হয়ত বলবে, ভাই! আমি আর এসব করতে পারছি না! আমরা এগুলো বারংবার করছি। আমি বোধহয় আর পারছি না। অন্যজন বলবে, ‘না! আমরা সবাই একসাথে বাঁচব। আমাদের এটা করতেই হবে। ওঠো! চলো, চলো, চলো। চলতে থাকো, চলতে থাকো’।
আপনার এমন মুভি দেখেছেন না? যেখানে তারা কোনো আর্মি থেকে পালায়, তাদের মধ্যে একজন ক্লান্ত হয়ে বলে, ‘আমি আর দৌড়াতে পারছি না’। তখন অন্যরা কী বলে? ‘ওঠো, ওঠো। আমরা এটা পারব। চলো, চলো’। তারা কোনো না কোনোভাবে তাকে মানিয়ে নেয়। যদিও সে ভেবেছিল সে আর দৌড়াতে পারবে না। তারা একে অপরকে তাগিদ দেয়, কারণ তাদের বেঁচে যাওয়া একে অপরের উপর নির্ভর করে। তারা প্রচণ্ডভাবে একে অপরকে তাগিদ দেয়।
﴾নিশ্চয় মানবজাতি ক্ষতির মধ্যে ডুবে আছে। নিশ্চয় মানুষ ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।﴿ [সূরা আসর]
আমরা এ থেকে কী বুঝলাম? এখানে কোনো ব্যতিক্রম নেই। আপনি আলাদা কিছু নন। বাঁচতে হলে অপরকে আল্লাহর দিকে নিয়ে বাঁচতে হবে। নইলে উভয়েই ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হব আখিরাতে। তাই সূরার শেষে বলা হয়েছে - আখিরাতের চূড়ান্ত ক্ষতি থেকে বাঁচতে হলে একে অপরকে সত্যের দিকে, তাওহীদের দিকে, আল্লাহর দিকে, হেদায়াতের দিকে দাওয়াত দিতে হবে এবং এই দাওয়াত দিতে গিয়ে সবর করতে হবে। নইলে মানবজাতির চূড়ান্ত ধংস ও ক্ষতি আমাদের পেয়ে বসবে।
