DOES GOD SLEEP ?

Responses to Christians. 1 - IIN

⚫
DOES GOD SLEEP ⚫ ?
⚫ “Then the Lord awaked as one out of sleep and like a mighty man that shouts by reason of wine.
(Bible Psalm 78:65).
⚫ “Awake, why do you sleep, O Lord?” (Bible Psalms 44:23).
⚫ Correction: Where would we be if God needed to sleep? God in the Quran is depicted in a true light when He, The Almighty is describing Himself by stating: “Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him”
( Holy Quran 2:255).
⚫ (Bible Psalm 121:4) : agrees with verse of noble Qur'an but contradicts with above biblical Fabricated verse :
⚫ (Bible Psalm 121:4) : “Indeed, he (God) who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps.”

CHARGING INTEREST IN "LENDING"MONEY IS PROHIBITED IN WORLD RELIGIONS.

 Quran The Final Testament

CHARGING INTEREST IN "LENDING"MONEY IS PROHIBITED IN WORLD RELIGIONS.
Why is charging interest (usury) forbidden in Islam?
“Why do Muslims not take loans from banks?”
So, a simple answer is that: “A Muslim is not allowed to take or give interest (usury)”[The Nobel Qur'an Surah 2 verses 188, 274-280; Surah 3 verse 130; Surah 4 verses 29, 161; Surah 9 verses 34-35, 43; Surah 30 verse 39.].
But this same is applicable to others too, especially to Hindus and Christians, as it is prohibited in their respective books to deal with interest from money (usury). This prohibition can be referred as follows in their respective texts:
Hinduism:
Manu Smriti: 11:62: Defiling a damsel, usury, breaking a vow, selling a tank, a garden, one's wife, or child
Manu Smriti: 8:152: Stipulated interest beyond the legal rate, being against (the law), cannot be recovered; they call that a usurious way (of lending); (the lender) is (in no case) entitled to (more than) five in the hundred.
Christianity:
BIBLE: Leviticus 25:36-37: Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee. Thou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor lend him thy victuals for increase.
BIBLE: Ezekiel 18:8: He that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man,
BIBLE: Psalms 15:5: He that putteth not out his money to
usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
Judaism
Criticism of usury in Judaism has its roots in several Biblical passages in which the taking of interest is either forbidden, discouraged or scorned and you can seen in the scripture in the following places such as Exodus 22:24-25; Leviticus 25:35-37; Deuteronomy 23:19-21; Ezekiel 18: 20; Proverbs 28:8; Psalms 15:5; Nehemiah 5:7.
Thus, there are several other matters over which we argue. So, a simple quote and reference from a proper source would end our argument, as most religions say similar things about goodness. And with this clarification, we can share our knowledge to make peace. Apart from the similarities, there are several other misunderstood facts, which are not part of Islam at all, but are prescribed by other religions.
Islam is a complete code of life which offers its own social, political and economic systems to guide human behavior in all spheres of life. History has recorded that the economic system of Islam, for the first time in the world had established social and economic justice during the period of al-Khilafah al-Rashidah. In any ideal Muslim society, socio-economic justice is considered as one of the most significant characteristics for the social, political, economic as well as all realms
of human interaction. Exploitation and any source of unjustified enrichment in Islam is
prohibited.
The Holy Qur’an has emphatically instructed Muslims not to acquire each other’s property wrongfully. Islam is not an ascetic religion. It takes a positive view of life as the natural outcome of the belief that human beings are the vicegerents of Allah(swt).
(will increase): it is these who will get a recompense multiplied”.
(The Nobel Quran 30:39)
“That they took riba (usury), through they were forbidden and that they devoured men’s substance wrongfully – We have prepared for those among men who reject faith a grievous punishment”
(The Nobel Quran 4:161)
“O ye who believe! Devour not usury doubled and multiplied; but fear Allah, that ye may (really) prosper.” (The Nobel Quran 3:140)
“Those who devour usury will not stand except as stands one whom the evil one by his touch hath driven to madness. That is because they say: ‘Trade is like usury.’ But Allah hath permitted trade and forbidden usury. Those who after receiving direction from their Lord, desist, shall be pardoned for the past; their case is for Allah (to judge). But those who repeat (the offence) are companions of the fire, they will abide therein(forever)”
(The Nobel Quran 2:275)
“O you who have attained faith! Remain conscious of God, and give up all outstanding gains from Usury, if you are (truly) believers”
(The Nobel Quran 2: 278)
In the commentary on the Holy Qur’an mentioned that usury is condemned and prohibited in the strongest possible terms.

The Quran Speaks of Happiness

The Quran Speaks of Happiness
The concept of happiness in Islam is expressed in the Qur’ân and Sunnah in a number of different ways. First, we find the Qur’ân discussing the “good life”. Allah says: “Whosoever does right, whether male or female, and is a believer, we shall make them live a good life, and We shall pay them a recompense in proportion to the best of what they used to do.” [Sûrah al-Nahl: 97]
This “good life” is happiness itself. It is realized through faith and good deeds. This does not mean that we will not face difficulties in our good life. Our worldly lives, even when they are bolstered by faith and good works, are never free from distress and vexations. This world is the abode of toil, as Allah says: “Certainly We have created man to be in toil.” [Sûrah al-Balad: 90]
This world is the abode of tests and trials. Allah says: “Verily We created Man from a drop of mingled sperm, in order to try him: so We gave him (the gifts) of hearing and sight.” [Sûrah al-Insân: 2]
Allah also says: “Every soul shall have a taste of death: and We test you by evil and by good by way of trial, and to Us is your return.” [Sûrah al-Anbiyâ’: 35]
The concept of happiness is also expressed in the Qur’ân as a negation of wretchedness and misguidance. It is also expressed through by contrasting it with the description, of a narrow, straightened life.
Allah says: “But he who turns away from remembrance of Me, his will be a narrow life, and I shall bring him blind to the assembly on the Day of Resurrection.” [Sûrah TâHâ: 124]
Wretchedness is the opposite of happiness. It is a state of being bereft of Allah’s remembrance. The way to distance oneself from wretchedness is to follow the path of guidance. This is what brings about happiness.
The Qur’ân also uses the concept of “the openness of the heart” to express happiness. Allah says: “Those whom Allah wills to guide, He opens their breast to Islam; those whom He wills to leave straying, He makes their breast close and constricted, as if they had to climb up to the skies: thus does Allah (heap) the penalty on those who refuse to believe.” [Sûrah al-An`âm: 125]
Another expression is the “contentment of the heart”. Allah says: “Those who believe, and whose hearts find contentment in the remembrance of Allah: for without doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find contentment.” [Sûrah al-Ra`d: 28]
The contentment and openness of the heart are aspects of happiness which are achieved through keeping up the remembrance of Allah and through following the guidance of Islam.
Total and perfect happiness is achieved through true devotion in worship to Allah, salvation from Hell, and admission to Paradise in the Hereafter.
Allah says: “On the day when it shall come, no soul shall speak except with His permission, then (some) of them shall be unhappy and (others) happy. Those who are wretched shall be in the Fire: There will be for them therein (nothing but) the heaving of sighs and sobs. Abiding therein so long as the heavens and the earth endure, except as your Lord please; surely your Lord is the mighty doer of what He intends. And as to those who are made happy, they shall be in the garden, abiding in it as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except as your Lord please; a gift which shall never be cut off.” [Sûrah Hûd: 105-108]
Believers can be tested with tribulations and illness, though when they are granted patience to endure and they seek their reward with their Lord, it is best for them.
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “How amazing are the believer’s affairs; all his affairs are good for him. If good befalls him, he is grateful and that is good for him, and if he is afflicted by calamity he is patient and that is also good for him. This is only for the believer.” [Sahîh Muslim]
