Islam teaches a very different truth about Prophet ʿĪsā (Jesus), peace be upon him.
> “They did not kill him, nor did they crucify him—but it was made to appear so to them… Rather, Allah raised him up to Himself.”
(Qur’an 4:157–158)
According to Islamic understanding, the man placed on the cross was not Jesus, but another who was made to resemble him—identified by many scholars as
Judas Iscariot
, the betrayer.
Allah is All-Powerful and needs no vehicle, no sacrifice, and no symbol.
Prophets are honored and protected by Allah.
Jesus (ʿĪsā) is a mighty prophet, not God.
He will return before the Day of Judgment, break the cross, and restore the truth.
Reflect
If Allah created the heavens and the earth by command alone,
would He need a cross to raise His prophet to Heaven?
