scientific miracles of islam The miracle of water In the following picture we will see how Allah be He exalted drives the water cycle, the Qur'an talked very precisely about these facts… The Qur'an told us in a scientific way about all related facts to the water cycle and descending of rains. Let us look attentively at these holy verses which speak about every part of the water cycle. The sun is the driver of the aquatic cycle, God says :( And we have made (therein) a shining lamp (sun).)(Sûrat An-Naba’-verse13). Sun spreads the necessary heat and light to evaporate water and to form winds. Winds are the second driver of the aquatic cycle, God says :( And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then cause the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We give it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like].)(Sûrat A-Hijr- verse 22). Water which descends from the clouds is stored in the ground for hundreds of years without being spoiled ,taking into consideration that anyone may store the water for only couple of days it will spoil; God says:( it is not you who are the owners of its stores) ( Sûrat A-Hijr- verse 22). After evaporation of water it condenses in the sky in form of clouds, then winds fertilize the clouds, God says :( And we send the winds fertilizing) (Sûrat A-Hijr- verse 22). The Qur'an told us about the high heavy clouds which are responsible for rains and ice, God says: (See you not that Allah drives the clouds gently, then joins them together, then makes them into a heap of layers, and you see the rain comes forth from between them; and He sends down from the sky hail (like) mountains, (or there are in the heaven mountains of hail from where He sends down hail), and strikes therewith whom He wills, and averts it from whom He wills. The vivid flash of its (clouds) lightning nearly blinds the sight)(Sûrat An-Nûr-verse43) The water" which descends" is stored inside the ground in form of sweet springs to enable life to continue, God says: (See you not that Allah sends down water (rain) from the sky, and causes it to penetrate the earth, (and then makes it to spring up) as water-springs, and afterward thereby produces crops of different colors, and afterward they wither and you see them turn yellow; then He makes them dry and broken pieces. Verily, in this is a Reminder for men of understanding.)(Sûrat Az-Zumar-verse21). If these crops are not transferred to the yellow to be dry and broken pieces and if it remained Green, the cycle of plant wouldn't be renewed and we wouldn't get benefit from those broken pieces which transfer to be oil over hundreds of yeas. Scientists say that all of these operations are according to very organized and constant physical laws, God says: (And we sent down from the sky water (rain) in (due) measure and we gave it lodging in the earth, and verily, we are Able to take it away.)(Sûrat Al-Mu’minûn-verse18). Look at the word "in due" which refers to discipline and arrangement. The most important part in this cycle, what is happening at the area which is called the mouth (where rivers flow in seas), Qur'an says: (And it is He who has let free the two seas (kinds of water): this is palatable and sweet, and that is salt and bitter; and He has set a barrier and a complete partition between them.)(Sûrat Al-Furqân-verse 53) .Unless Rivers are flowing in seas, those seas would be drought. That what happened in the Aral Sea which was supplying by two rivers and because of a human interruption by stopping that supplying, the sea became empty. Scientists say that mountains have a vital role in the descending of rains, forming the clouds and in water purification. God says: (And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains, and have given you to drink sweet water?)(Sûrat Al-Mursalât- verse 27).In this verse a clear link between the mountains and the sweet water. These verses were descended 1400 year ago, with a precise description for the water cycle which was discovered 100 years ago! Isn't this a proof that the Qur'an is the book of Allah?

Sulaiman ibn Yasar reported: People dispersed from around Abu Huraira and Natil from the people of Syria said to him, “O Sheikh, narrate to us a saying you have heard from the Messenger of Allah.” He said: Yes, I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, say, “Indeed, the first of people to have their case judged on the Day of Resurrection will be a man who was martyred. He will be brought and Allah’s blessings will be made known and he will recognize them. Allah will say: What have you done concerning these blessings? The man will say: I fought in your cause until I was martyred. Allah will say: You have lied because you fought so that it would be said how courageous you are, and it was said. Then Allah will order him to be dragged upon his face into the Hellfire. Another man learned religious knowledge, taught others, and recited the Quran. He will be brought and Allah’s blessings will be made known and he will recognize them. Allah will

 say: What have you done concerning these blessings? The man will say: I learned religious knowledge, taught others, and I recited the Quran for Your sake. Allah will say: You have lied because you learned religious knowledge so that it would be said you are a scholar and you recited the Quran so that it would be said you are a reciter, and it was said. Then Allah will order him to be dragged upon his face into the Hellfire. Another man was given an abundance from Allah and was given every kind of wealth. He will be brought and Allah’s blessings will be made known and he will recognize them. Allah will say: What have you done concerning these blessings? The man will say: I spent money in every cause upon which You wished it to be spent. Allah will say: You have lied because you spent money so that it would be said how generous you are, and it was said. Then Allah will order him to be dragged upon his face into the Hellfire.”

Abu Juhaifa reported: The Prophet, peace be upon him, made a fellowship between Salman and Abu Ad-Darda. Salman visited Abu Ad-Darda and found his wife Umm Ad-Darda dressed in worn out clothing. He asked her why she was like this. She said, “Your brother Abu Ad-Darda is not interested in this world.” Then Abu Ad-Darda entered and prepared a meal for Salman. Salman asked Abu Ad-Darda to eat with him but he said, “I am fasting.” Salman said, “I will not eat until you eat.” So Abu Ad-Darda ate with him. When the night time arrived, Abu Ad-Darda stood for prayer but Salman asked him to sleep, and Abu Ad-Darda slept. After a while Abu Ad-Darda arose again but Salman asked him to sleep. When it was the last hours of the night, Salman asked him to get up and they both offered the night prayers. Salman said to him, “You have a duty to your Lord; you have a duty to your body; you have a duty to your family; so you should give each one its rights.” Abu Ad-

Darda came to the Prophet, peace be upon him, and told him what happened. He said, “Salman is correct.”

أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ آخَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ سَلْمَانَ وَأَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ فَزَارَ سَلْمَانُ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ فَرَأَى أُمَّ الدَّرْدَاءِ مُتَبَذِّلَةً فَقَالَ لَهَا مَا شَأْنُكِ قَالَتْ أَخُوكَ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ لَيْسَ لَهُ حَاجَةٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَجَاءَ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ فَصَنَعَ لَهُ طَعَامًا فَقَالَ كُلْ قَالَ فَإِنِّي صَائِمٌ قَالَ مَا أَنَا بِآكِلٍ حَتَّى تَأْكُلَ قَالَ فَأَكَلَ فَلَمَّا كَانَ اللَّيْلُ ذَهَبَ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ يَقُومُ قَالَ نَمْ فَنَامَ ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ يَقُومُ فَقَالَ نَمْ فَلَمَّا كَانَ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ قَالَ سَلْمَانُ قُمْ الْآنَ فَصَلَّيَا فَقَالَ لَهُ سَلْمَانُ إِنَّ لِرَبِّكَ عَلَيْكَ حَقًّا وَلِنَفْسِكَ عَلَيْكَ حَقًّا وَلِأَهْلِكَ عَلَيْكَ حَقًّا فَأَعْطِ كُلَّ ذِي حَقٍّ حَقَّهُ فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ..

Uqbah ibn Amr reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, say, “Your Lord delights in a shepherd who, on the peak of a mountain, performs the call to prayer and prays. Allah the Exalted says: Look at this, My servant, who calls to prayer, establishes prayer, and fears Me. I have forgiven My servant and entered him into Paradise.”

[Sunan An-Nasa’i, Book of the Call to Prayer, Number 666, Sahih]

عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ يَعْجَبُ رَبُّكَ مِنْ رَاعِي غَنَمٍ فِي رَأْسِ شَظِيَّةِ الْجَبَلِ يُؤَذِّنُ بِالصَّلَاةِ وَيُصَلِّي فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ انْظُرُوا إِلَى عَبْدِي هَذَا يُؤَذِّنُ وَيُقِيمُ الصَّلَاةَ يَخَافُ مِنِّي قَدْ غَفَرْتُ لِعَبْدِي وَأَدْخَلْتُهُ الْجَنَّةَ

Ibn Umar reported: We were discussing the farewell sermon while the Prophet, peace be upon him, was among us. We did not know what farewell sermon meant, so he praised and glorified Allah, then he mentioned the False Messiah and he described him, saying, “Allah did not send any prophet except that he would warn his nation. Noah warned his nation and so did the prophets after him. Verily, he will appear from among you, and it may happen that some of his qualities are hidden from you but the state of your Lord is clear and not hidden.” He said this three times, and said, “Verily, your Lord is not blind in one eye while he is blind in his right eye which looks like a bulging grape. Verily, Allah has sanctified your lives and property to one another just like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this city of yours, in this month of yours. Have I not conveyed the message?” They said, “Yes.” He said three times, “O Allah, bear witness.” Then he said, 

“Woe unto you!” or he said, “Woe betide you! Do not return to unbelief after me by striking the necks of each other!”

[Sahih Bukhari, Book 59, Number 685]

Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, “Verily, those who were fair will be in the presence of Allah upon pulpits of light, near the right hand of the Merciful, the Exalted, and both of His sides are right (being equal in honor); those who practiced justice in their rulings and with their families and in all that they did.”

Ibn Abbas reported: The Prophet, peace be upon him, said, “Allah the Exalted said: The son of Adam has lied against Me but he has no right to do so, and he has abused Me but he has no right to do so. As for his lie, it is his saying that I cannot recreate him as I did before; and as for his abuse, it is his saying that I have a son, but glorified am I above taking a wife or a son.”

[Sahih Bukhari, Book 60, Number 9]

Do you like star-gazing and looking up at the sky? You can see stars where light was emitted from hundreds(!) of years ago and is just reaching you now! Next time, you look up and see so many different stars in galaxies far, far away (literally!), think of the following:

"Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding" (Translation of the Meaning of the Quran, 3:190)

“On the authority of Abu al-Abbaas Abdullah ibn Abbaas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) who said: One day I was riding behind the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he said to me, “O young man, I shall teach you some words [of advice]. Be mindful of Allah and Allah will protect you. Be mindful of Allah and you will find Him in front of you. If you ask, ask Allah. If you seek help, seek help in Allah. Know that if the nation were to gather together to benefit you with something, they would not benefit you except with that which Allah has already recorded for you. If they gather to harm you by something, they would not be able to harm you by anything except what Allah has already recorded against you. The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried.” (Recorded in al-Tirmindhi)

Narrated 'Amr bin Maimun Al-Audi: I saw 'umar bin Al-Khattab (when he was stabbed) saying, "O 'Abdul

lah bin 'umar! Go to the mother of the believers Aisha and say, 'umar bin Al-Kha
ttab sends his greetings to you,' and request her to allow me to be buried with my companions."
(So, Ibn 'umar conveyed the message to 'Aisha.) She said, "I had the idea of having this place for myself but today I prefer him ('umar) to myself (and allow him to be buried there)."
When 'Abdullah bin 'umar returned, 'umar asked him, "What (news) do you have?" He replied, "O chief of the believers! She has allowed you (to be buried there)."
On that 'umar said, "Nothing was more important to me than to be buried in that (sacred) place. So, when I expire, carry me there and pay my greetings to her ('Aisha ) and say, 'umar bin Al-Khattab asks permission; and if she gives permission, then bury me (there) and if she does not, then take me to the grave-yard of the Muslims. I do not think any person has more right for the caliphate than those with whom Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) was always pleased till his death. And whoever is chosen by the people after me will be the caliph, and you people must listen to him and obey him," and then he mentioned the name of 'Uthman, 'Ali, Talha, Az-Zubair, 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Auf and Sad bin Abi Waqqas.
By this time a young man from Ansar came and said, "O chief of the believers! Be happy with Allah's glad tidings. The grade which you have in Islam is known to you, then you became the caliph and you ruled with justice and then you have been awarded martyrdom after all this."
'umar replied, "O son of my brother! Would that all that privileges will counterbalance (my short comings), so that I neither lose nor gain anything. I recommend my successor to be good to the early emigrants and realize their rights and to protect their honor and sacred things. And I also recommend him to be good to the Ansar who before them, had homes (in Medina) and had adopted the Faith. He should accept the good of the righteous among them and should excuse their wrongdoers. I recommend him to abide by the rules and regulations concerning the Dhimmis (protectees) of Allah and His Apostle, to fulfill their contracts completely and fight for them and not to tax (overburden) them beyond their capabilities."

Prophet Mohamed peace be upon him advised us 1400 years ago to start our sleeping mode on the right side, why?.....…

Scientists say that sleeping on the left side is not favored, as the heart would be under the pressure of the right lung, the biggest of the two lungs, and this would affect its contraction especially if the person is old.
