What do you know About Allah?
Allah is the proper name of the One True God. Nothing else can be called Allah. This term has no plural or gendfer, which shows its uniqueness when compared with the word ‘god’, that can be made plural, gods; or feminine, goddess. ALLAH is The Creator of the Heavens and the earth and all that exists. Allah has no partners or associates, none is equal to Him and He has no son.
In the Arabic language the word الله 'Allah' originated from the word إله 'ILAH',
ILAH (إله) or God ( in English) He who has divinity = is the one who is worshiped;
And according to this meaning:
The One True God is Allah, there is no other God,
This means that Only Allah has divinity "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.",
The Jewish and Christian Arabs also call God by His name الله 'Allah", and it is not only Muslims who call Him by His name, but the other religions have, in one way or another, distorted and nullified a pure and proper belief in Almighty Allah by neglecting His true teachings and mixing them with man-made ideas.
Allah is the God of Abraham and Isrــael. Christians call him according to the Bible (the Father). Allah Is who sent the Prophets and messengers; Moses, Jesus, Abraham, Noah and all the prophets and messengers ( peace be upon them), and whose last prophet and messenger was Muhammad (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him)
Allah has many names and attributes with which Allah Almighty named and described Himself, as the Almighty said (in the meaning of the verse):
*Allah – there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names.* (Quran 20:8)
Of these names and attributes:
The Beneficent, The Merciful, The King, The Most Sacred, The Source of Peace, The Creator, The Majestic, The Supreme Bestower, The All-Hearing, The All-Seeing, The All-Knowing, The First, The Last, The Giver of Life, The Creator of Death.. ect
The word -Allah- means the one who is worth to be worshipped.
GOD ( ALLAH ) is one, Everything in the universe and the creation bear witness to HIS Oneness, He is The GOD (ALLAH) the Creator, beside HIM none has the right to be worship but HIM, the All knower of the unseen and the seen.
ALLAH is the Gracious, the most Merciful, HE is ALLAH. The King ,The Holy One, the one free from all defects, The Giver of security, The Watcher over his creatures. The Almighty, The Supreme, Glorified is ALLAH.
HE is above all that, what they associate as partners with Him.
What Do We Know About Allah?
We know there is none like Him.
The One who has no beginning and no end.
The One who has full knowledge of everything that happens before it happens.
The One that is neither limited by time nor space, and to whom nothing is hidden.
The One whose vision encompasses all whilst no vision can encompass Him.
The One who can hear all and knows our deepest thoughts.
The One who flattened the earth and made it liveable for His creation.
The One who brings rain from the clouds and revives the dead land after its death.
The One who created man from dust, then from a drop of semen, and nurtured the foetus in the womb.
The One who gives life and death.
The One who over centuries revealed to mankind different miracles, inviting them to know Him and believe in Him.
The One who sent messengers to each nation and revealed scriptures to them, and sent Muhammad as the final Messenger and the Qur’an as the final scripture.
The One who created this life as a test and the afterlife as an eternal abode.
The One who guides whomsoever He wills and lets go astray whomsoever He wills.
We know there is no barrier between us and Allah.
Every call and supplication whispered or uttered loudly reaches him directly.
