If everything is already predestined then why do we make Dua?
A group of people fell into the traps of Iblees (Satan) and thought that this question is correct.
So they said: "There is no need for Dua. There is no need to ask Allah to grant me health or to cure me or to suffice me or to provide for me."
Why?
They said: "Because everything is already predestined"
The Sheikh, may Allah have mercy on him, responded to them with a very beautiful response.
He said: "This statement is false"
Why is it false?
He said :"It indicates its falsity, despite their excessive ignorance and misguidance, that it contains the abandonment of all means."
Because dua is from the means/causes of Qadar(predestination)
OK. Why do you go work? Allah has predestined RIZQ for you why do you work ? You will say," because Allah ordered you to strive."
OK Allah ordered you to make Dua, what is this stupidity? Here you know the command of Allah but here you don't know the command of Allah?
This is Iblees, he wants you to leave off making dua in this way.
The Sheikh says that the regularity of this statement of theirs, necessitates abandoning all the means/causes.
Someone asks a person, "Do you want a son?"
He says, "Yes"
"Then ask Allah to grant you a son". The person says: "There's no need."
Why?
He says, "If Allah wants to grant me a son, then there is no need to ask Allah to grant me a son."
Fine habibi don't get married, if Allah wants to grant you a son, why get married?
What's the difference? Marriage is one of the causes of children, and dua is one of the causes of children. So if you do this cause (marriage), then do this cause (dua)
As for this cause (marriage) you do it because it's a universal natural cause and doesn't have Ajr (reward)
And this cause (dua) that has Ajr, you leave it because it's Sharia? Then know that this is from the plots and diseases of Iblees, so beware.
