*Best du’aa’ on the Day of Arafat*

Amr bin Shu’aib narrated from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“The best of supplication is the supplication of the Day of Arafah. and the best of what I and the Prophet before me have said is:

*لا إِلَهَ إلاَّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَريكَ لَهُ، لَهُ المُلْكُ ولَهُ الحَمْدُ وهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَديرٌ.*

*(La Ilaha Illallahu, Wahdahu La Sharika Lahu, Lahul-Mulku Wa Lahul-Hamdu, Wa Huwa Ala Kulli Shai’in Qadir).’”*

None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, Alone, without partner, to Him belongs all that exists, and to Him belongs the Praise, and He is powerful over all things.

You may find that this dua’a is a remembrance, because you are not asking for something, but the best dua’a is when you remember Allah (ﷻ)

Because when you praise Allah (ﷻ), then you are asking Allah ﷻ for His pleasure, subhan Allah.

You are not only asking for things, but you are asking Allah (ﷻ) to love you, SubhanAllah.

Imagine if you a have a child that is just saying you are a great mother, you are so kind, etc – but they are not asking you for anything, you will give them without them asking you because you are pleased with them.

And to Allah (ﷻ) is the best example, when you remember Allah (ﷻ), He will give you better than if you were to ask because when Allah (ﷻ) is pleased with you and loves you, then He will give you better than what you would ask, SubhanAllah.
