(1) “Trinity is one God” is a theological assertion, not a biblical statement
(a) The word Trinity never appears anywhere in the Bible.
(b) No prophet in the Bible teaches “one essence in three persons.”
(c) Jesus himself states the opposite hierarchy:
John 17:3 → “The Father… the only true God.”
John 14:28 → “The Father is greater than I.”
Mark 13:32 → Jesus does not know the Hour, but God does.
A being who:
lacks knowledge,
has a greater authority above him,
calls another “the only true God”
cannot be that same God.
(2) Jesus never explicitly says “I am God, worship me.”
(a) Not once in the four Gospels.
(b) When asked about the greatest commandment, Jesus repeats strict monotheism:
Mark 12:29
“Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is ONE.”
He quotes Jewish monotheism, not Trinity.
(3) “I AM” in John 8:58 is not proof of divinity
(a) The Greek phrase ego eimi (“I am”) is used by many ordinary people in the Bible.
(b) The blind man uses the same phrase in John 9:9.
(c) Saying “I am” ≠ claiming to be Yahweh.
This is linguistic, not divine.
(4) Accepting worship does not prove deity
(a) The Greek word often translated “worship” (proskuneo) also means:
bow
kneel
show respect
(b) People bowed to kings, prophets, and angels using the same word.
(c) Therefore the word alone cannot prove divine worship.
(5) Apostles calling Jesus “God” is later theological interpretation
(a) Earliest preaching in Acts consistently says:
Jesus = servant of God
Jesus = man approved by God
God raised Jesus
Example:
Acts 2:22
“Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested by God…”
Not “God Himself.”
(6) The Trinity logically contradicts absolute monotheism
Christian claim:
Father = fully God
Son = fully God
Spirit = fully God
but not three Gods
This produces:
(a) three fully divine centers of consciousness
(b) three who speak to each other
(c) three who have relational distinctions
This is composite plurality, not absolute oneness.
Pure monotheism cannot contain internal persons.
(7) Even Christian history shows the doctrine developed later
(a) The Trinity was formalized centuries after Jesus.
(b) The Council of Nicaea (325 CE) defined Christ’s divine status politically and theologically.
(c) Earlier Christian groups held non-Trinitarian views.
Therefore:
Trinity = doctrinal development
not original prophetic teaching.
Islamic conclusion (very direct)
Islam preserves the original prophetic message:
(a) God is absolutely One.
(b) God has no partners, no internal persons.
(c) Prophets are servants, not incarnations.
(d) Worship belongs to God alone.
This is the same message taught by:
Abraham
Moses
Jesus
Peace be upon them all.
