Wishing Your Friend OR Abusing your Creator(ALLAH) ????
Assalam u Alaikum Wa Rehmatullah Wa Barkatahu...
Christmas is just around the corner, we may observe many Muslim people will participate in Christmas Celebration and Christmas Party.
We may see many Facebook status update by Muslim saying "Merry Christmas", you may also send sms to your Christian friend saying "Merry Christmas". But hold on, do you even realize what actually you are doing, you not just wishing your friend but rather you are encouraging the abuse of your Creator [ALLAH].
What does Merry Christmas signifies?
Christians claims Jesus [alaihe asalam] was the Son of God [naudhubillah], and he [Jesus] was born on 25th December, and you are wishing them on the birth anniversary of Son of God [naudhubillah]? That means you are approving that God has Son, i.e. Jesus?
Do you know ALLAH says in Qur'an that to attribute a Son to ALLAH is the biggest abuse.
ALLAH says in The Holy Qur'an, Surah Maryam Verse 88-92
And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son."
You have done an atrocious thing.
The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation.
That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son.
See, will you abuse your mother father to please your friends? Certainly not, then how can you abuse ALLAH [SWT] by wishing Merry Christmas to your friends?
If someone abuses you father or mother you will surely break all your ties with him, then how you can you approve when someone abusing your Creator ALLAH? That doesn't mean you will break your ties or friendship with your Christian friends, no, not all, but it simply means you will try to make them understand that you cannot participate in such celebration and you will also try to present them True Islam.
Think over it again and again..
See, whether Jesus [AS} was really a Son of God or not according to Bible that's different issue altogether, but atleast I can hope no Muslim can ever think that Jesus [AS] is son of ALLAH...
So this my short note is for you my Muslim friends, so you may think 100 times before you wish your friend, because this is disbelief to think or belief that Jesus [AS] was Son of God:- This is Shirk, the biggest crime in the sight of ALLAH, which HE [ALLAH] will never ever forgive.
They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary"
[The Noble Qur'an, Surah Al Maidah, Verse 72]
