Hadis: Aku menghadiri salat hari raya bersama Umar bin Al-Khaṭṭāb -raḍiyallāhu 'anhu-, lalu ia berkata, Dua hari ini adalah hari yang dilarang oleh Rasulullah ﷺ untuk berpuasa padanya; hari berbuka dari puasa kalian (Idulfitri) dan hari lainnya saat kalian makan sembelihan kalian (Iduladha) - Ensiklopedia Terjemahan Hadis-hadis Nabi
हदीस: मैंने उमर बिन ख़त्ताब -रज़ियल्लाहु अनहु- के साथ ईद की नमाज़ अदा की। उन्होंने फ़रमाया कि यह दो दिन ऐसे हैं, जिनमें रोज़ा रखने से अल्लाह के रसूल -सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम- ने मना किया है। एक (रमज़ान के) रोज़ों के बाद इफ़तार (ईद अल-फ़ित्र) का दिन, और दूसरा वह दिन, जिसमें तुम अपनी क़ुरबानी का मांस खाते हो (यानी ईद अल-अज़हा का दिन)। - अनूदित हदीस-ए-नबवी विश्वकोश
