first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah ذو الحجه
Abstaining Hair Cut & Nail Clipping in the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah if one is going to Offer Sacrifice
Sa’eed bin Al-Musaiyyab say: I heard Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever has an animal to sacrifice, when the crescent moon of Dhul-Hijjah appears, he should not get his hair cut or nails trimmed, until he has offered his sacrifice.”

delaying of Hajj until old age
The delaying of Hajj until old age is completely opposed to the Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh) who said in a hadith, “Hasten to perform the duty of Hajj, for verily none of you knows what will happen to him.” (Abu Dawud) Hence, #Hajj is compulsory on all Muslims as soon as they are able to perform it. Some people delay their Hajj believing that they can do it later, thinking since if Hajj will wipe away their sins and they are old, they will not be able to do much of evil anymore. They save Hajj until the last days. How foolish. So many of them have died before they could even do their planned Hajj. Dr Bilal
