Kind Words Are Charity

Kind Words Are Charity
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Kind words are charity.”
Charity is not always money given…
Rather, it can be a gentle word that is spoken with kindness, reviving a tired heart, easing a heavy sorrow, or bringing peace to a troubled soul.
🌿 A smile with a kind word… is charity
🌿 Sincere encouragement for someone feeling down… is charity
🌿 A prayer for someone in their absence… is charity
🌿 A gentle apology… is charity
🌿 Saying “It’s okay, you are fine”… is charity
Sometimes we do not realize the impact our words leave in the hearts of others…
A single word can build a person, or break them.
💛 So always let your tongue be a source of goodness
And never underestimate any kind word… for it may be (great) in the sight of Allah.

Old Testament prophecies future PROPHET!

Old Testament prophecies future PROPHET!
Verses in discussion: Deut 18:15 & Deut 34:10
Let’s look at the texts:
1) Deuteronomy 18:15
“The LORD your God will raise up for you a *PROPHET LIKE ME* (Moses) from among your brothers…”
2) Later in Deuteronomy 34:10
“Since then, *no prophet has arisen in Israel like Moses*, whom the LORD knew face to face.”
The argument is:
(i) Deuteronomy 18 predicts a prophet LIKE Moses.
(ii) Deuteronomy 34, written after Moses’ death, states no prophet in Israel has arisen like Moses.
(iii) Therefore, the prophet predicted in Deuteronomy 18 had not yet appeared among the Israelites.
(iv) The wording “in Israel” would imply that the prophet like Moses could arise from OUTSIDE Israel.
Explanation:
- Deut 34:10 can be read as leaving open the possibility that a prophet like Moses could arise outside Israel.
- We can connect this with: Moses and Muhammad (pbuh) both had natural births, marriages, children, political authority, law-giving roles, and leadership of a community.
* though Jesus is highly revered in Islam, he character differs from Moses in several of those respects.
Conclusion: Hence the only contender of that PROPHET is none other than the non-Israelite, Ishmaelite (brethren to Israelites), Arab Prophet, Prophet Mohammed (pbuh)
