Let’s end this nonsense once and for all.

NO , the Qur’an NEVER says Mary is part of the Trinity.

Let’s get the verse right:

Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:116

“And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, ‘O Jesus, son of Mary, did you say to the people, “Take me and my mother as two gods besides Allah?”

وَإِذۡ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ يَـٰعِيسَى ٱبۡنَ مَرۡيَمَ أَءَنتَ قُلتَ لِلنَّاسِ ٱتَّخِذُونِي وَأُمِّيَ إِلَـٰهَيۡنِ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِۖ

Observation 1:

This is a rhetorical question.

It’s not describing Christian doctrine, it’s exposing deviant practices.

Even Jesus denies ever teaching it.

It’s a rebuke, not a theological endorsement.

So who actually worshiped Mary?

Christians love to deny this , but history says otherwise.

The Collyridians (4th century):

A sect of women in Arabia who literally worshiped Mary and offered cakes to her as a goddess.

Catholicism’s evolution:

Prayers to Mary

Statues of Mary

Titles like “Queen of Heaven”

People literally kneeling before her image

Sounds like worship? You decide.

The Qur’an responded to what was happening, not what Christian theology later “cleaned up.”

What about the so-called “Third of Three”?

Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:73

“They have certainly disbelieved who say, ‘Allah is the third of three.’”

لَّقَدۡ كَفَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ثَالِثُ ثَلَـٰثَةٍۖ

Christians say:

“That’s not what we believe!”

But let’s break it down…

You claim:

“The Father is God”

“The Son is God”

“The Holy Spirit is God”

“But there’s only one God”

To anyone with logic (and no church doctrine fogging their brain), that sounds EXACTLY like three gods pretending to be one.

You call it "mystery." The Qur’an calls it confusion.

Let’s be real:

The Bible NEVER says:

“God is three persons in one being.”

That line is from Church Councils, NOT Jesus.

Meanwhile…

The Qur’an boldly declares:

“Say: He is Allah, One.” (112:1)

“Do not say ‘Three’ — Cease! It is better for you.” (4:171)

“There is nothing like unto Him.” (42:11)

Final Verdict:

No trinity.

No partners.

No divine mother.

Just ONE Supreme, Indivisible God.

So next time someone claims the Qur’an says Mary is part of the Trinity , send them this.

And remind them:

You can’t twist a book that God Himself vowed to protect. (Surah 15:9)

Truth doesn’t need councils. It needs clarity.

And the Qur’an gave us just that.
