قَالَ سَالِمٌ كَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يُصَلِّي عَلَى دَابَّتِهِ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَهْوَ مُسَافِرٌ، مَا يُبَالِي حَيْثُ مَا كَانَ وَجْهُهُ. قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُسَبِّحُ عَلَى الرَّاحِلَةِ قِبَلَ أَىِّ وَجْهٍ تَوَجَّهَ، وَيُوتِرُ عَلَيْهَا، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لاَ يُصَلِّي عَلَيْهَا الْمَكْتُوبَةَ
Narrated Salim: At night `Abdullah bin `Umar used to offer the prayer on the back of his animal during the journey and never cared about the direction he faced. Ibn `Umar said: “Allah's Messenger ﷺ used to offer the optional prayer on the back of his Mount facing any direction and also used to pray the witr on it but never offered the compulsory prayer on it.”
سالم نے بیان کیا کہ عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ اپنی سواری پر رات کی نماز سفر کی حالت میں پڑھتے تھے اور اس کی پرواہ انہیں بالکل نہ ہوتی کہ سواری کا رخ کس طرف ہے۔ ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سواری پر نفل پڑھتے جس طرف سواری کا رخ ہوتا اور اس پر وتر بھی پڑھتے مگر یہ کہ فرض نماز سواری پر نہ پڑھتے۔

أَنَّ أُمَّ كُرْزٍ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّهَا، سَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الْعَقِيقَةِ فَقَالَ عَنِ الْغُلاَمِ شَاتَانِ وَعَنِ الْجَارِيَةِ وَاحِدَةٌ وَلاَ يَضُرُّكُمْ ذُكْرَانًا كُنَّ أَمْ إِنَاثًا
Narrated Umm Kurz: That she asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the ‘Aqiqah. He said: “For the boy is two sheep, and for the girl is one, it will not harm you if they (i.e. the sheep) are male or female.”
ام کرز فرماتی ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے عقیقے کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے ارشاد فرمایا لڑکے کے عقیقے میں دو اور لڑکی کے عقیقے میں ایک بکری ذبح کی جائے خواہ وہ بکرے ہوں یا بکریاں۔
