Masjid Jinn

This is Masjid Jinn, located not far from the Haram in #Makkah.
The mosque is built at the place where a group of jinn gathered one night to hear the recitation of a portion of the Quran by the Prophet (ﷺ).
The incident is mentioned in surah 'al-Jinn' in the #Quran.

This is Mada’in Saleh, 400km north-west of #Madinah.
The tribe of Thamud lived here, famed for their ability to carve out homes in the mountains.
Prophet Saleh (as) was sent to guide them but they rejected his teachings and were destroyed by an earthquake.
