Virtue of Fasting in Muharram:
Hadith reports state that the best voluntary fast after Ramadan is fasting in the month of Muharram. This highlights the virtue of fasting during this month, though not necessarily for the entire month.
There is no obligation to fast the whole month, it remains optional for those who wish to do so.
Fasting on Ashura:
The Prophet (ﷺ) emphasized fasting on the day of Ashuraʾ (10th of Muharram) and encouraged adding the 9th or 11th day to it as well. He said that fasting on Ashura expiates the sins of the past year.

When Symbols Replace Tawḥīd: A Clear Sign of Deviation

🚫 When Symbols Replace Tawḥīd: A Clear Sign of Deviation
Look closely.
Two hands.
Two religions.
But one common direction: away from the pure Tawḥīd of Islām.
➡️ On the left: the Shīʿī hand, used as an emblem in rituals of grief and exaggeration of Ahl al-Bayt — a symbol deeply tied to innovation, mythology, and idolatrous practice.
➡️ On the right: the Hindu hand, featuring a statue of Buddha, also used as a religious symbol representing divine blessing and protection.
📛 What unites these two?
🔸 Both are physical icons with no basis in divine revelation
🔸 Both are used in religious devotion or symbolism
🔸 Both divert the heart from pure Tawḥīd to symbols, forms, and mysticism
🔊 Ibn ʿAbbās رضي الله عنه explained:
Indeed, the first shirk committed by the children of Ādam was due to exaggeration in the righteous.
(Reported by al-Bukhārī in Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 4920)
📌 This is exactly what the Rāfiḍah have fallen into — exaggeration, symbols, and rituals that mimic other false religions, while claiming love for the Ahl al-Bayt.
💔 But true love for the Prophet ﷺ and his family is to follow the Sharīʿah they lived by, not to invent images and icons in their name.
👉 To every sincere seeker of truth:
Don’t be deceived by forms and rituals that imitate Hinduism, Sufism, or Zoroastrianism.
Return to the Qurʾān. Return to the Sunnah. Return to Tawḥīd.
💝 Please donate today. For the sake of Allah. For the reward that only Allah can measure.

Imām Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) said:
"If those who give Sadaqah [charity] knows that their Sadaqah falls on Allah (Taʿālā)'s Hand before the hand of the poor, then surely, the joy of giving would be more than the joy of receiving."
[Madārij Al-Sālikīn]
May Allah accept from us all. May He write us among those who gave when giving was hardest, and loved Him when it mattered most.
