13 VALID REASONS WHY AND HOW MUSLIMS ARE LIKE JESUS (PBUH) AND TRUE FOLLOWERS OF JESUS THAN MOST CHRISTIANS BELIEVE:

13 VALID REASONS WHY AND HOW MUSLIMS ARE LIKE JESUS (PBUH) AND TRUE FOLLOWERS OF JESUS THAN MOST CHRISTIANS BELIEVE:
1. Jesus (pbuh) taught that there is only One God and Only God should be worshipped as taught in Deut 6:4, Mark 12:29. Muslims also believe this as taught in the Qur'an verse 4:171.
2. Jesus (pbuh) didn't eat pork as taught in Leviticus 11:7 , and neither do Muslims as taught in the Qur'an verse 6:145.
3. Jesus (pbuh) greeted with the words "as salaamu alaikum" (Peace be with you) in John 20:21. Muslims also greet each other this way.
4. Jesus (pbuh) always said "God Willing" (inshallah), Muslims say this too before doing anything as taught in the Qur'an verses 18:23-24.
5. Jesus (pbuh) washed his face, hands, and feet before praying. The Muslims do the same.
6. Jesus (pbuh) and other prophets of the Bible prayed with their head to the ground (see Matthew 26:39). Muslims do too as taught in the Qur'an verse 3:43.
7. Jesus (pbuh) had a beard and wore a throbe. It is Sunnah for Muslim men to do the same.
8. Jesus (pbuh) followed the law and believed in all the prophets, (see Matthew 5:17). Muslims do too as taught in the Qur'an verses 3:84, and 2:285.
9. Jesus' mother Maryam (pbut) dressed modestly by fully covering her body and wearing a headscarf (hijab) as found in 1 Timothy 2:9, Genesis 24:64-65, and Corinthians 11:6. Muslim women modestly dress the same as taught in the Qur'an verse 33:59.
10. Jesus (pbuh) and other prophets of the Bible fasted up to 40 days (see Exodus 34:28, Daniel 10:2-6. 1Kings 19:8, and Matthew 4:1-11. Muslims do also during the month of Ramadan. Muslims are required to fast the full obligatory 30 days (see Qur'an 2:183), and others take it a step further by fasting an additional 6 days to increase their rewards.
11. Jesus (pbuh) taught to say "Peace to this house" when entering it (see Luke 10:5), and to also greet the people in the house with "peace be unto you". Muslims do exactly what Jesus did and taught. When we enter our homes and the homes of others we say "Bismillah" and also greet with "as salaamu alaikum" (peace be upon you) as taught in the Qur'an verse 24:61.
12. Jesus (pbuh) was circumcised. Circumcision is 1 of the 5 fitrah in Islam, so Muslim men are required to be circumsised. According to the Bible in Luke 2:21, Jesus was eight days old when he was circumcised. In the Torah, Allah/God stated to the Prophet Abraham (pbuh) that it is an "Everlasting covenant" (see Genesis 17:13). In the Qur'an verse 16:123 Muslims are required to follow the religion of Abraham. The Prophet Muhammad (saws) said, "The Prophet Abraham circumcised himself when he was eighty years old." (see Sahih hadith Bukhari, Muslim, and Ahmad).
13. Jesus (pbuh) spoke aramaic and called God "Elah", which is pronounced the same as "Allah". Aramaic is an ancient, Biblical language. It is one of the Semitic languages that also include Hebrew, Arabic, Ethiopic and the ancient Assyrian and Babylonian language of Akkadian. The Aramaic "Elah" and the Arabic "Allah" are the same. The Aramaic "Elah" is derived from the Arabic "Allah", and it means "GOD". "Allah" in Arabic also means "GOD", the Supreme GOD Almighty. You can easily see the similarity in their pronunciation so this concludes that the God of Jesus is also the God of the Muslims, of all mankind, and all that exist.
Ameen!

prayer on Friday

062.009 O ye who believe! When the call is proclaimed to prayer on Friday (the Day of Assembly), hasten earnestly to the Remembrance of God, and leave off business (and traffic): That is best for you if ye but knew!
062.010 And when the Prayer is finished, then may ye disperse through the land, and seek of the Bounty of God: and celebrate the Praises of God often (and without stint): that ye may prosper.

A MUS T READ!!! -Khalid Yasin

A MUS T READ!!! -Khalid Yasin
We convince ourselves that life will be better after we get married,
have a baby, then another, get a new job, get a new house.
Then we are frustrated that the kids aren't old enough
and we'll be more content when they are.
The truth is, there's no better time to be happy than
right now! If not now, when?
Your life will always be filled with challenges.
It's best to admit this to yourself and decide to be happy anyway.
Happiness is the way.
So, treasure every moment that you have and
treasure it more because you shared it with someone special,
special enough to spend your time with...
And remember that time waits for no one!
So, stop waiting...
...until your car or home is paid off
...until you get a new car or a new job
...until you go back to school
...until you lose ten pounds
...until you gain ten pounds
...until you finish school
...until you get married
...until you get a divorce
...until you have kids
...until your kids leave the house
...until you retire
...until summer
...until fall
...until winter
...until spring
...until you die!
There is no better time than right now to be happy.

Surah Al-Mutaffifin

Surah Al-Mutaffifin
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Woe unto the defrauders: (1) Those who when they take the measure from mankind demand it full, (2) But if they measure unto them or weight for them, they cause them loss. (3) Do such (men) not consider that they will be raised again (4) Unto an awful Day, (5) The day when (all) mankind stand before the Lord of the Worlds? (6) Nay, but the record of the vile is in Sijjin - (7) Ah! what will convey unto thee what Sijjin is! - (8)A written record. (9) Woe unto the repudiators on that day! (10) Those who deny the Day of Judgment (11)Which none denieth save each criminal transgressor, (12) Who, when Our revelations are recited unto him, saith: (Mere) fables of the men of old. (13) Nay, but that which they have earned is rust upon their hearts. (14) Nay, but surely on that day they will be covered from (the mercy of) their Lord. (15) Then lo! they verily will burn in hell, (16) And it will be said (unto them): This is that which ye used to deny. (17) Nay, but the record of the righteous is in 'Illiyin - (18) Ah, what will convey unto thee what 'Illiyin is! - (19) A written record, (20) Attested by those who are brought near (unto their Lord). (21) Lo! the righteous verily are in delight, (22) On couches, gazing, (23) Thou wilt know in their faces the radiance of delight. (24) They are given to drink of a pure wine, sealed, (25) Whose seal is musk - for this let (all) those strive who strive for bliss - (26) And mixed with water of Tasnim, (27) A spring whence those brought near to Allah drink. (28) Lo! the guilty used to laugh at those who believed, (29) And wink one to another when they passed them; (30)And when they returned to their own folk, they returned jesting; (31) And when they saw them they said: Lo! these have gone astray. (32) Yet they were not sent as guardians over them. (33) This day it is those who believe who have the laugh of disbelievers, (34) On high couches, gazing. (35) Are not the disbelievers paid for what they used to do? (36)
