Sometimes the weight you carry cannot be lifted by people, plans, or your own strength.
Sometimes the weight you carry cannot be lifted by people, plans, or your own strength.
Allah gives us a way through it: patience and prayer.
When life feels overwhelming, return to Salah. When the answer feels delayed, hold onto Sabr. The problem may not disappear immediately, but Allah can give your heart the strength to carry what once felt impossible.
وَاسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ
“And seek help through patience and prayer.”
Surah Al-Baqarah 2:45
May Allah make us among those who turn to Him first in every hardship. Ameen.

If this life were the end…
If this life were the end…
What about the injustice that was never punished?
What about the oppressed person who never received their rights?
And what about the good deeds a person did when no one saw them?
Belief in the Hereafter reminds us that this life is not the end.
There is a Day when every person will be held accountable for their deeds, and everyone will receive their due.
Allah says:
“And indeed, the home of the Hereafter is truly the real life, if only they knew.”
(Qur’an 29:64)
This world is a stage… not the final destination.
That is why every deed you do today matters, and every good thing you do may be waiting for you one day.
So ask yourself:
What am I preparing for the life that never ends?
If Allah already knows every choice we will make, are our choices really free?
If Allah already knows every choice we will make, are our choices really free?
Islam teaches that Allah’s knowledge of the future does not mean that He forces us to make our decisions. Allah knows perfectly what we will choose, but we are still the ones who choose; and that is why we are accountable for our actions.
The Qur’an makes human responsibility clear: “We already showed them the Way, whether they choose to be grateful or ungrateful.” — Qur’an 76:3
And Allah says: “Whoever wills, let them believe; and whoever wills, let them disbelieve.” — Qur’an 18:29
Think about the difference between knowing an action and causing an action. Allah’s knowledge is perfect and unlimited. He knows our past, present, and future simultaneously. But His knowledge of what we will freely decide does not turn us into robots.
At the same time, Islam teaches that our freedom is not independent of Allah. We live within the abilities, circumstances, lifespan, and opportunities He has given us.
The Qur’an reminds us: “But you cannot will ˹to do so˺ unless Allah wills.” — Qur’an 76:30
So Islam holds both truths together: Allah is completely sovereign, and human beings still make meaningful choices for which they are responsible.
If our decisions had no meaning, there would be no reason for commandments, repentance, reward, punishment, or the Day of Judgment. Allah gave us guidance, intellect, conscience, and the ability to choose and then made us responsible for how we use them.
Allah already knows the road you will take. But you are still the one taking the steps.
So the question is not simply, “Does Allah know my future?” He does.
The more important question is: Knowing that your choices matter before Allah, what will you choose today?
