يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اجْتَنِبُوا كَثِيرًا مِنَ الظَّنِّ إِنَّ بَعْضَ الظَّنِّ إِثْمٌ ۖ وَلَا تَجَسَّسُوا وَلَا يَغْتَبْ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضًا ۚ أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ لَحْمَ أَخِيهِ مَيْتًا فَكَرِهْتُمُوهُ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَوَّابٌ رَحِيمٌ
O you who believe! Avoid much suspicions, indeed some suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting). And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is the One Who accepts repentance, Most Merciful.
اے ایمان والو! بہت گمان کرنے سے پرہیز کرو کیونکہ بعض گمان گناہ ہوتے ہیں ۔ اور کسی کی عیب جوئی نہ کرو، نہ ہی تم میں سے کوئی کسی دوسرے کی غیبت کرے، کیا تم میں سے کوئی یہ پسند کرتا ہے کہ اپنے مردہ بھائی کا گوشت کھائے؟ تم تو خود اس کام کو ناپسند کرتے ہو اور اللہ سے ڈرتے ہو ۔ اللہ ہر وقت توبہ قبول کرنے والا رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

"O ye who believe! there are indeed many among the priests and anchorites, who in Falsehood devour the substance of men and hinder (them) from the way of The One God (The Creator). And there are those who bury gold and silver and spend it not in the way of The One God (The Creator): announce unto them a most grievous penalty "_Qur’an 9 :34
“And We sent Noah and Abraham, and established in their line Prophethood and Revelation: and some of them were on right guidance. But many of them became rebellious transgressors. Then, in their wake, We followed them up with (others of) Our messengers: We sent after them Esa/Eshoa (Jesus) the son of Mary, and bestowed on him the Gospel; and We ordained in the hearts of those who followed him Compassion and Mercy. But the Monasticism which they invented for themselves, We did not prescribe for them: (We commanded) only the seeking for the Good Pleasure of Allah/Elah[in Aramaic]/The one God; but that they did not foster as they should have done. Yet We bestowed, on those among them who believed, their (due) reward, but many of them are rebellious transgressors.”
Qur’an 57:26
"And verily We gave unto Moses the Scripture and We caused a train of messengers to follow after him, and We gave unto Jesus, son of Mary, clear signs, and We supported him with the holy spirit (angel Gabriel). Is it that whenever there came to you a Messenger with that which you yourselves desire not, you grow arrogant? " _[Qur'an 2:87]
‘Say[O Muhammad]: "I am no bringer of new-fangled doctrine among the messengers, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I follow but that which is revealed to me by inspiration; I am but a Warner open and clear. Say: "See ye? If (this teaching) be from The One God(The Creator), and ye reject it, and a witness from among the Children of Israel testifies to its similarity (with earlier scripture), and has believed while ye are arrogant, (how unjust ye are!) truly, The One God (The Creator) guides not a people unjust.”_Qur’an 46:9-10
Say ye [O Muhammad]: "We believe in The One God(The Creator), and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord: We make no difference between one and another of them: And we surrender only to The One God(The Creator) in peace=('Muslims) ."_Quran 2:136
"And if you deny, then nations before you have denied (their Messengers). And the duty of the Messenger is only to convey (the Message) plainly."_Qur'an 29:18
Lo! We inspire thee (Muhammad) as We inspired Noah and the prophets after him, as We inspired Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the tribes, and Jesus and Job and Jonah and Aaron and Solomon, and as we imparted unto David the Psalms; And messengers We have mentioned unto thee before and messengers We have not mentioned unto thee; and The One God (The Creator) spake directly unto Moses; Messengers of good cheer and off warning, in order that mankind might have no argument against The One God (The Creator) after the messengers. The One God (The Creator) is Exalted in Power, Wise.
Qur'an 4:163-165
