IF GOD IS PERFECTLY MERCIFUL, WHY IS A SACRIFICE NECESSARY FOR FORGIVENESS?

1ي
🤔 IF GOD IS PERFECTLY MERCIFUL, WHY IS A SACRIFICE NECESSARY FOR FORGIVENESS?
Think about this for a moment…
If God is Almighty, perfectly merciful, and able to forgive, why would forgiveness require the sacrifice of an innocent person?
Can’t the Creator forgive those who sincerely repent and turn back to Him?
In Islam, we believe that Allah forgives those who sincerely repent, and that every person is accountable for their own deeds. We do not believe that an innocent person must bear the punishment for another person’s sins.
Allah says in the Qur’an:
📖 “And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another.”
Qur’an 6:164
💭 Here is the question worth discussing:
Does true forgiveness require a sacrifice, or can a perfectly merciful God forgive those who sincerely repent?
We invite our Christian friends to share their understanding. Let’s discuss this important question with sincerity, reason, and mutual respect.
