And among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the difference of your languages and colors. Verily, in that are indeed signs for men of sound knowledge
When your wife feels weak, be to her like a father. When she cries, be to her like a mother. When she makes a mistake, be to her like a brother. When she complains, be to her like a friend. When she needs advice, be to her like a sister.
One of the greatest benefits of attaining Islamic knowledge is that it removes doubt and filth from the heart. Doubt results from the diseases of shubuhāt while filth results from the diseases of shahawāt; and from shubuhāt and shahawāt come all the diseases of the heart.
Its cure lies in attaining knowledge, because knowledge produces certainty and patience; through certainty shubuhāt are overcome and through patience shahawāt are overcome:
“And We made from among them leaders, guiding by Our command, when they were patient and used to believe with certainty in Our Āyāt.” [As-Sajdah 32:24]
How many blind people would pay anything to be able to read the Qurán, how many deaf people would pay anything to be able hear the Adhan, how many dumb people would pay anything to be able to say the Shahadah, and how many crippled people would pay anything to walk around the Ka’bah. You see; we’re very rich, but just not grateful… And Allaah says in the Qur’an: “And few of My servants are grateful”
