🔸◀️ In the First Epistle of John, chapter 5, verses 7–8, the version commonly used today—the Van Dyck Version, or the King James Version—states:
📒
> “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
>
> 8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.”
Observe how many words have been added to this text, and indeed how an entire clause has been added. Continue reading so that we may examine this. 💡
🔹 The committee responsible for the Common Arabic Bible translation stated, with respect to this passage, that it was not present in the ancient manuscripts and that, in the Greek version, it appeared between brackets, indicating that it was an explanatory comment by the copyist of the epistle—whose identity is unknown—when copying from the Greek manuscript.

🌻 **The evidence is as follows:**
▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️
🔸 **In the Jesuit translation, we find the passage as follows:**
> “7 And those who testify are three.
> 8 The Spirit, the water, and the blood, and these three are one.”
▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️
🔸 **In the Common Arabic Bible translation, we find:**
> “7. And those who testify are three:
> 8. the Spirit, the water, and the blood, and these three are in agreement.”
▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️
🔸 **In the Pauline translation, we find:**
> “7 Therefore, the witnesses are three ((...)):
> 8 the Spirit, the water, and the blood, and these three are in agreement.”
▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️
🔸 **In the traditional English version, we find:**
> “7 For there are three that testify:
> 8 the Spirit and the water and the blood; and these three agree.”
There is no mention whatsoever of the Father, the Word, and the Spirit.
▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️
🔸 **In the English NCV translation, we find:**
> “7 So there are three witnesses:
> 8 the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three witnesses agree.”
Again, there is no mention of the Father, the Son, and the Spirit.
If you examine all the English versions, you will not find this wording. 📒

🔸 **As for the Greek text, it reads:**
> **7 ὅτι τρεῖς εἰσιν οἱ μαρτυροῦντες, 8 8τὸ Πνεῦμα καὶ τὸ ὕδωρ καὶ τὸ αἷμα, καὶ οἱ τρεῖς εἰς τὸ ἕν εἰσιν.**
English rendering:
> “7 For there are three who testify,
> 8 the Spirit and the water and the blood, and the three are one.”
Here also, the Father, the Son, and the Spirit are not mentioned.
You may translate the text yourselves to verify this. 🔎

🔸 **If you look at the Hebrew text, it reads as follows:**
> **אִם־בַּמַּיִם וּבַדָּם: 7
> וְהָרוּחַ הוּא הַמֵּעִיד עָלָיו כִּי הָרוּחַ אֱמֶת הוּא: 8 כי שלשה חמה המעידים הרוח**
The Father, the Son, and the Spirit are likewise not mentioned in this text.
You may translate it yourselves to verify this. 🔎

🔹 Who inserted the phrase “the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit” into the Bible? ⁉️
🔹 What was the purpose of inserting words that were not originally present in the ancient versions in the various languages? ⁉️
🔹 Was it intended to establish a particular idea that existed in the mind of the unidentified copyist of this book? ⁉️
🔹 Or was it the idea of certain religious figures who had lost their faith, and, if so, for what purpose did they insert these words? ⁉️
🔹 Or was it the work of enemies of Christianity, and was their objective to mislead the Christian people? ⁉️

🔹 We are all searching for the truth. We ask nothing of you except that you investigate your own book and your own Gospel.
What is the purpose of inserting words, removing words, changing translations, and altering the meanings of words?
Even names, which are not normally translated, have been rendered as entirely different words. ⁉️
🔲🔲🔲🔲🔲🔲🔲🔲🔲🔲🔲🔲🔲🔲🔲🔲
🔹 Have you ever asked yourselves who did this? ⁉️
🔹 Have you ever asked yourselves why all the writers of the Gospels are unidentified? ⁉️
🔹 Have you ever asked yourselves who determined and selected these four Gospels while not accepting the others, and on what basis and according to what scholarly methodology they selected them? ⁉️
🖋️ We invite you only to think, reflect, read your own book, and investigate every word contained within it.
Then, God willing “in sha’ Allah”, you will arrive at the truth.
You will come to know that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah “la ilaha illa Allah wa Muhammadun rasul Allah”.
Many Christians who thought deeply and conducted their own research arrived at this truth and embraced Islam by the grace of Allah “bi-fadl Allah”. ❤️✌️
