Quran’s Lesson - Surah Al-Tawbah 9, Verse 50, Part 10

إِنْ تُصِبْكَ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْهُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ تُصِبْكَ مُصِيبَةٌ يَقُولُوا قَدْ أَخَذْنَا أَمْرَنَا مِنْ قَبْلُ وَيَتَوَلَّوْا وَهُمْ فَرِحُونَ

If good befalls you (O Muhammad ﷺ), it grieves them, but if a calamity overtakes you, they say: “We took our precaution beforehand,” and they turn away rejoicing.

(اے نبی!) اگر آپ کو کوئی بھلائی پہنچتی ہے تو انہیں بری لگتی ہے۔ اور اگر آپ پر کوئی مصیبت پڑتی ہے تو وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نے تو اپنے معاملے میں پہلے ہی احتیاط برتی تھی۔ اور وہ خوش خوش لوٹ جاتے ہیں۔
