SCIENCE FOR KIDS - GOLD!!!!!
Gold is an ELEMENT, which means it cannot be broken down into anything else! It is a good CONDUCTOR of electricity and heat, which means that they both move through gold very easily. This is why it is used a lot in ELECTRONICS! Gold is MALLEABLE - just ONE GRAM can be hammered into a sheet ONE SQUARE METER in size! As of 2009, it was estimated that humans mined over 160,000 TONS of gold! Gold is very valuable, and many people like to wear it as jewelry!

Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire - of women and sons, heaped-up sums of gold and silver, fine branded horses, and cattle and tilled land. That is the enjoyment of worldly life, but Allah has with Him the best return. (Qur'an 3:14)
