When Christians claim that they love the Prophets, respect them, and that they are the true followers of the Prophets, show them how their corrupt and blasphemous Bible insults the Prophets, destroys their reputations, and undermines them as good role models chosen by God and supposedly sent by God to guide their communities. Yes, the corrupt and blasphemous Bible insults the Prophets and destroys their role as good role models.
A question to those Christians: would God choose the worst people to be bad role models for the communities to whom He sent His Prophets? Do not claim that the Bible is honest and reflects reality when, in your view, the Bible has been corrupted.
In Islam, the Prophets are infallible and never committed any rape or any crime. The Prophets in Islam are infallible, and all the marriages of the Prophet Muhammad — peace be upon him “salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam” — were consensual.
The allegation of rape arises from your own corrupt and blasphemous Bible, which depicts some prophets of God as raping women.
(1) Incest attributed to prophets / righteous figures
(a) Lot and his daughters — incest
Book of Genesis 19:30–36
Lot’s daughters intoxicate him and have sexual relations with him, producing children.
(2) Sexual assault / rape connected to prophetic or divinely guided narratives
(a) Moses’ war and taking virgin girls
Book of Numbers 31:17–18
Moses commands killing male children and non-virgin women, while keeping virgin girls alive for themselves.
(b) David and Bathsheba (coercive royal seizure)
Book of 2 Samuel 11:2–4
King David takes Bathsheba after summoning her; the text presents the act as sinful abuse of power.
(c) Concubine abused to death in Israelite territory
Book of Judges 19:22–29
A Levite’s concubine is gang-raped overnight and dies. The Levite is a religious figure.
(3) Prophets / divinely guided leaders ordering or participating in killing women and children
(a) Moses ordering mass killing including women and children
Numbers 31:7, 14–18
Includes killing women who had relations with men.
(b) Joshua destroying entire populations including women and children
Book of Joshua 6:21
Jericho: men, women, young, old all killed.
Also Joshua 8:24–26 (Ai destruction).
(c) Samuel conveying divine command to Saul to kill all Amalekites
Book of 1 Samuel 15:3
Command explicitly includes:
men, women, infants, and nursing children.
(d) Elisha and the bears killing youths after prophetic curse
Book of 2 Kings 2:23–24
After Elisha curses them, bears kill forty-two youths.
(4) Other major sexual-sin narratives involving key Biblical righteous figures
(a) Noah’s drunken nakedness episode involving his sons
Genesis 9:20–24
(Interpretations vary; some Jewish and early traditions saw sexual wrongdoing implied.)
(b) Judah and Tamar (prophetic ancestor of David and Jesus)
Genesis 38:15–18
Judah unknowingly sleeps with his daughter-in-law posing as a prostitute.
(5) Important clarification for accuracy
(a) The Bible itself often condemns some of these actions (for example David’s sin).
(b) However, these figures remain presented as chosen servants of God, prophetic leaders, or ancestors of the Messiah, which is why these passages are often discussed in theological debates.
