Was Shakespeare inspired by Islam? His 'Last Will and Testament' is "In the Name of God. Amen. I, William Shakespeare of Stratford upon Avon in the county of Warwickshire gent., in perfect health and memory, *God Be Praised* (Muslims say "Praise God" all the time)
And he says, "..first, I commend my Soul into the hands *of God who created me*".
And he says: *"And my body to the earth whereof it is made."* (Muslims say this).
Then he references Jesus, peace be upon him, by showing he's not really from the Catholic Church - his parents were): *"to be made partaker of life everlasting*" without refering to any saints.
Was Shakespeare inspired by Islam? Or monotheism of early Christianity? Is it proof? Coincidence? Your opinion?
