hadith

Abdur Rahman ibn Abu Amrah reported: Uthman ibn Affan entered the mosque after the sunset prayer and he sat alone, so I went to sit with him. Uthman said: O son of my brother! I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, “Whoever prays the evening (‘isha) prayer in congregation is as if he has stood for prayer half of the night, and whoever prays the dawn (fajr) prayer is as if he has stood for prayer the whole night.”
