"Be aware of whom you are taking your "Deen" from. Islam has always suffered a lot of hijacking. From the very initial stages of building a community, Abdullah Bin Saba is believed to have hijacked a part of the community and formed what is called now the Shiah community (Authenticity Debatable). The hijacking continues and every now and then a new baby sect and belief is born. Hold tightly to the rope of God and do not get divided into groups. God has gifted us with a thing called intellect or in Islamic context what we call "aql", make full use of it and use God and His messenger as a criterion between what is right and what is wrong. This is also a Quranic command for us that if we differ on something we should go back to these two sources. All other sources are fallible be it some great scholar or the Shiah Imams or Ahmediya Prophets and Khalifas or the Bahai Manifestations of God or Ahle Bayt or The Four Imam's of Sunni Schools of Fiqh."
